Someone by the name of Eddie Brown requested I call him back at this number for sensitive issue before they s**** foreclosures process on my home. I called my mortgage company and they said my mortgage is fine. I posted this on Facebook for people to be aware. When I called the number Marcus Smith answered and would not identify the company, just asked for zip code. Then when I kept asking him the same question he ***g up. I called back and it said Mortgage Lending Department on the voice mail. Beware of scammers and calls coming from s****ers using legitimate business names with US phone numbers. I was called from 9198775700 NC Housing Finance Agency.

They claimed they were calling to modify my mortgage even though I was already on a mortgage modification program.

We do have a mortgage but not on that on that property. This number is a “spam” or a “text me app number”.
