Report them to you state's Attorney General and the Attn Gen in Texas as well as the FTC.  This is a total scam.  They are trying to get money from Americans.  Also, if they call a***n, tape the messages.  If these *****s are caught they might come in handy.

I just received a phone call about my fiancee being sued from this company. I did not answer the phone because i did not know who was calling. I have tried to call back but it is jusy busy now. His name ws David warner. Said that my fiancees name and SSN was being sued. And that he got my num**** from my fiancee. I am clueless on what is going on. Where do I report this or find more information about it?

The Real Cooper Law Firm is out of South Carolina and handle personal injury and malpractice. There is a Jeffery Scott Cooper who works there, but his bar license and information are public record and he is American as Apple Pie.  File complaints with the the Houston Attn Gen, and the Attn Gen of you state as well as the FTC on these people.  They are Nigerians who want money and they are not getting it.  If you can, get the local media involved.Also, US Cash Advance is aware of what is going on, and they have stated they only work in the local community in KY where the are located, and do not take out of state business.

A man named David Warden with a heavy foreign accent called me at work. He said that he was from Cooper Law Firm in Houston, TX and that he filed a lawsuit a***nst me for his client US Cash Advance. I asked him to explain to me what this was about and he said I had to talk to his supervisor. He put me on hold and then came back on the phone claiming to be Jay Wilson. He said that I had received a cash advance from them in the first week of March. He could not provide me with an exact date this alleged cash advance took place. I asked him for a copy of the alleged contract. He said it was already at the courthouse. I could hear someone whispering to him as I asked questions. I told him that I never applied for or received a cash advance from US Cash Advance. I felt this may be a scam so I did not call them back. They have tried to call my cell phone 4 times tonight s****ing at 8:13 p.m. this evening and I have not answered the calls.

Jeff Scott is a ****. I reverse looked up the fax number and the phone number and there is no information for it.  Go figure.

I am going to s**** recording the messages and have noted the times and names. I will be doing just that next week.  I get a message, I am on my way to ******ia with it and the other stuff I have collected in tow.  This has got to end.

I recvd a call from 1-281-763-0434 and they said I owed all this money and I was going to jail and they were from Cooper Law firm and I had to call David back asap and if I did not Good Luck in JAil. Well I got scared and called and they yelled at me awful.. And told me if I did not have the money today I would never see my family a***n. Well I called the US Cash Advance and I have no loan there. I also told the man I filed bankruptcy and he said that did not matter. I called my lawyer and it does matter.. I also have the fax number if that helps anyone 1-281-886-0564. I talked to some man named Jeff Scott and he was rude..

I have gotten 24 calls and 6 threatening messages from this company in the ****e of a week! (4/13 - 4/20)  and I filed a complaint with the Houston TX Attn Gen office and the Tennessee Attn Gen office as well as the FTC.  The FTC has a running file on these people. I am keeping my tape recorder near my phone from now on and will be taping the voice mails.  Next message I get is going to the FBI even if I have to drive all the blasted way to Quanico to deliver it.

This company is engaging in fraud, utilizing threats to coerce individuals into providing iden***y information, account and transit numbers.  Do not provide any information to this company and contact the FBI at once.  This is a sophisticated iden***y theft ring, any info provided will create exposure for your iden***y to be used for fraudulent purposes.

I just get call from this person name esto david.He let me a mesage says i gonna go to jail. I dont know what to do?

I have recieved several calls from this and another number 646-626-4180 that state that they are from a law fir cooper and the other number stated that he was from department of investigations Same name, George Micheals. Isn't he a singer:) They threatened me with jail and when I asked for the address so that I could correspond with the firm they would not let me have one so I told them not to call anymore. The man with and accent became very agitated and began yelling at me. I then told him that I was ****ing up but he ***g up before I could. I have been getting calls from this number stating that they are with Cooper law firm and are suing my ssn and that I had a court date. He also stated that I was going to jail. I checked with informationa dn the ineternet and found no such place and then called them back and asked for thier address as my attorney suggested that I send a don't call letter and that if they refused an address that they are boggus. They would not give me an address got very angry and s****ed yelling at me and then ***g up. What ****s. What can we do about this stuff?

Wow this is so****ing.... a man called my husband today on his job and said he was being sued and he had to pay so****ing today on his outstanding bill or it was going to court and was going to be on his credit report.... the man told him he needed to call JEFF SCOTT within 2 hours to keep this from happening..... WOW WHAT A BIG SCAM to get people money... thanks jim for sharing your experience so now i know they were just trying to scam my husband

Holy Cow what a scam !!!!   Customer called me stating that Cooper Law Firm was representing the company I work for because of an electronic money transfer that bounced, I called Cooper Law Firm and spoke to a Jay Wilson and he told me he was working for US Cash Advance not my company then I called back and spoke to a Jeff Scott and when I asked him he ***g up on me and my telephone numbers were blocked ...so where is the FEDS to stop this.
