I recieved a call from this person too telling me that i had a past due payday loan. When I informed them that I am part of a military family and we can not take out payday loans he s****ed yelling at me that if i didnt pay it back he was going to sue me... when i told him to send me the paper work and I would have JAG take a look at it he asked me what JAG was... I told him its the military equivilent of the DA... at that point he ***g up the phone....

I had been reciving calls Yelling and cursing me stating "it was urgent I contact him "immediatly re a " payday loan" I in formed him I had no money at this time, but would be willing to make arrangements when i got paid, this John Gibson even called my work threatening me and said if I did not pay 500.00 immediatly my bill would be 5000.00 and i would be arrested tomarrow at mt home or place of employment-my supervisor was suspious of this and looked up this site and proved it was a scam so I then called the Fbi and reported itNancy

somebody call me from that number too!! saying pretty much yhe sa****ing too. I just report it, and the police call them when he left my house. well the police men call back saying not worry about it cuz this where full bull crab! I just dont know cuz this people have alot of inf of me???? this stupit people need STOP!!!!!!!!!!!

I recieved this same phone call today 3x from a John Gibson.  I could barely understand what he was saying the phone was staticy but he managed to say that he will see me in court on Mon. morning to sue me. This man verified my home address and tried to get me to verify my social, when I refused he ***g up on me.  I called this man back and he knew exactly who I was and stated he was from the Crime division in NYC.  I dont even live remotely close to NYC and the number is from TX.  What can we do to punish John Gibson?  Any ideas write a post.

Recieved at call that I had been filed a***nst for a cyber crime and wanting my attorney information. When I said I didn't have an attorney, I was transfered to a supevisory "Gary" who said I owed $5,484.87 in court costs for a pay day loan. Gary was rude, yelled at me and accused me of trying to run away with money. He told me that I owed $825 and could take it up in court. I told him that is exactly what I would do and asked for his contact information so I could give it to my attorney. He said it was CyberCrime Unit in Los Angeles, CA with this call back number. He kept yelling at me and then kept asking to speak to my supervisor.

Just got a call from this number. Guy spoke very broken English. Said that he was from lawyer office and I needed to respond ASAP or he would download forms and sue me...lol  He said that it was for a payday loan...yea right!!!  States that I owe 4321.00. I can pay 501.00 right now and not go to court.

I received a threaten call at my work from w***ver this is and when I tried to call back there was no res****e

We got a call today as well.  The guy cursed me and called me all sorts of names.  Do we know who can we contact to report it.    The caller is out of Texas and his name ws Kevin Foster.

same story here although the caller's name was "jacob."  he left a voice mail that is no uncertain terms i should call him immediately "the very second i see this message" - guess they don't know the difference between the visual and hearing senses.  anyway, big time scam!!!

Got a message today from a woman who was screaming at me and so heavily accented I could hardly understand her, saying I needed to call her at her law firm at the above number or else she wished me the best of luck with my very serious legal case.  Someone needs to tell that no legitimate law firm is going to hire a collector who can't even speak english properly.  She did not leave the the firm name.  That's no surprise...

Same just happened to me. I called the police. Hope this gets taken care of!

me too. just got a call from 281-903-3202 -- this guy with a very heavy indian accent, saying " i wish you t****st of luck with your legal case."  wouldn't tell me what it was about. ooooh, i'm pretty scared....

Just got a call at work looking for one of my technicians. The caller said his name was John Gibson, he worked for a Law Firm and it was very important to call him back right away. It's very strange because the call # is from texas and I'm in california...don't know whats up with it.

Got a call at work to day from this # stating that a investigator will be coming to my job and taking me to court on a criminal charge.  Also stated that I owe some company money and the court cost and fees will be over 5000K if I did not make a payment in full of over 500.  He answer the call as Mr. Davis but leave a message and said call Mr. Robertson, so that's who I asked for. and he quickly said this is him.  LOL.  he wants me to fax over my debit card information so that he can take the funds out EFT.
