I called them back...... They say it is the " Texas Police Chief's****ociation" and they are soliciting contributions for their annual fundraiser. They also have an 800 number if you want to call and donate yourself !  Try flooding their call board for a while saying nothing or ****ing up and see how they like it !(800)336-7036

These same people called us today and all they would do is breathe into the phone after my wife answered, so she ***g up on them. They never said anything. Caller ID: "Local Call Back" 281-914-4701 @ 8:29 p.m.. We are also on the National Do Not Call registry, so obviously some scam artist trying to get people to send them money. Reported to FTC on "www.donotcall.gov"

I get calls from an unknown # its like the have a camera in my home wat****g and if it is who gives a f***.

They called around 8 pm but left no message.

Someone called me from this number today.  At first, I thought nothing of it because it's a Houston, TX area code, and I used to live in Houston, so I****umed it could be an old friend or co-worker, but I screened the call anyway.  The caller didn't leave a message, so I checked out the number on this site.  I have filed a complaint with the FTC through the Do Not Call registry.

Got a call today (February 16,2008) from 281-914-4701 and the Caller ID said "Local Call Back". They said they were with a police****ociation.This is ridiculous! Scammers!

They called out business wanting money.  SCAMERS!!!    I hate these calls so much.  It makes me sick

Got a call back. Voice answered. Could not figure out anything

They called to get donations for the local police department. It was to give support for the families of those lost while on duty. So****ing like that.

We're getting calls at odd hours.  Sometime no one is on the line, other times it's been collecting for law enforcement, today it was a 'community' call.

This number calls 4-5 times a week. I have never been at home when the call isplaced, but they never leave a message.

They call all the time, never leave a message and don't say anything when I pick up.

Have called consistently over a 4-6 month period sometimes with weeks in between.  We are on all no-call lists.  My wife answered once.  They wanted a donation to some law enforcement agency.  She said no thanks and ***g up.  That was months ago.......still they call and NEVER leave a message.

We get 3-4 calls from this number a day.  Sometimes they **** up before the ma****e answers.  If it does pick up-no message.  When we have answered, no one there.

We get calls from this number repeatedly. We are on the no-call lists, both state and national. They do not leave a message and no one is there when we answer.

I have been getting repeated calls from this number, I finally answered it today. Some deputy sheriff group looking for donations. The guy was not with law enforcement but said they were collecting funds for them...right?!?!I told them I only contribute to specific medical charities.

Got a call from this number at 7:58 a.m. this morning.  They left no message. Have no idea who/what it is from. I'm always su****ious when no message is left.
