This number called me twice with a Visa card scam.  A man who called himself James Hines said that he was calling from a college in Texas and someone had just tried to pay his tuition using my husband's Visa card in the amount of $559.00.  He said the transaction originated from Africa.  I figured was was trying to get me to say my Visa card number, but I wasn't so dumb as that.  I thanked him for the information and told him I would call the bank right away and said good bye.  A few minutes later, the same number called a***n, but ***g up right away.  I called the number back and was greeted by a recorded message saying that "this number is being used as a connecting carrier for companies.  Please contact the company directly."This is certainly a scam.
