i just got off the phone with the same dude with a Mid-Eastern accent, leaving threaten messages on my phone i called and talked to a Patrick....n he has ALL MY INFO....i mean EVERYTHING...i will be going straight to my police station and FILING a REPORT on their behinds...i DON'T OWE CASH ADVANCES a **** thing...i don't even give out my telephone number nevermind my ss#, account # and s**t...UGH these PEOPLE tried to STEAL from the WRONG ONE....

Called these people back, claimed they are attourneys. The have all my info. Don't owe them or anyone a dime and they say they are sueing me. Guess what, I have a great lawyer, so my comment to them was, see you in court. Threaten me will you. I am filing an internet fraud complaint and forewarding my lawyer thier info. Also going to see about pressing charges a***nst them. If I owed, I would pay, I owe noone and am in good standings with all my creditors. Borrow from Advance America, hah.

About 3:15 today I received a call from a Jason O'Connor, who sounded like someone from the Mid-East.  He told me that his client was suing me and that they wanted $10,000.00 dollars or I would be behind bars on Friday. I have reported this and even called him back to tell him he was busted and he said he did not care about that, and ***g the phone up.  It is nothing more than an extortionist at work.

This guy is calling me with the same history of the cash advances. saying that i owen money to them. i want them to stop calling me.

Keep calling about a debt I have no knowledge. Check all accounts. Call my job and cell. Annoying.

I am getting calls both at work and on my cell from the same man with an Indian accent.  Same threats of arrest and lawsuits, etc.  They have called 17 times in the last hour.  This is getting ridiculous.

I received calls from the 281-975-2535 from the same indian accent that could not speak english well and also a number the phone company said is being bounced off google which is 321-766-7128 saying the same thing about owing money to Cash America and he was in the legal division and they were going to arrest me right away unless we resolve this money owed. I never have made any transactions with Cash America. He had my name, address, phone numbers and insisted that i new about this money owed. He wanted me to fax him a letter that i will promise to pay with my credit card number and to sign it to the attention of Joathon Mightm at fax number 206-666-2207 . He put me on hold saying he was calling the sheriff right now and he was going to see what he could do to help me resolve this issue. BEWARE...this is a fraud, i made a report with the local police and the phone company verified that the FBI is aware of this scam.

I got a call from man who does'nt speak englis properly and that he is calling from the American Legal Attorney office that there is a lawsuit file a***nst me from cashadvance and that there will be an sheriff will be showing up at my door the next day to arrest me.

I got a call as well from an oriental sounding guy who said to give him a call back when I hire an attorney for a suppossed law suit that was filed a***nst me. Didn't catch the name of the firm but I've read that their just extortionist trying to get people to pay them money so I don't pay them no mind. It's frustrating because they do have my personal information in which I didn't confirm. Kinda scary but there's not much to do about this. This is about the third time someone has called me with this nonsense, the first time I reported it to the FBI but they said as soon as they close someone down, another one just pops up with a different number. Just keep an eye out and watch what personal information you give out online.

Got a call from an oriental sounding guy who told me to contact him or have my atty contact him. He said he is from the legal dept, however did not mention a company name. The number came oer as 7700004 on my caller ID so I didn't answer. At the end of the very threatening message he told me if "if you choose to ignore this call, then I wish you a good life." Very strange. I called back and was immediatley sent to a voicemail and when I tried to "0" out a get an operator I was told by a recording that the number is not in service.
