We got calls from this number on all our cells AND house number. Bad bad ppl.

Don't know # don't answer.

Keep getting calls from this phone number. they will not leave message if I don't answer.

Received a call on my cell - no voicemail was left.

Called my cell phone. Silence when I picked up. I know many people in Texas and thought it may have been an emergency since they called during work hours. Reading comments below, I see it's a scam. They have no business calling cell phones. Isn't there a regulatory agency that shuts these ****s down?

The number is owned by one of these three: 1. MCI Metro 2. Caprock 3. Paetec (yes this is spelled) correctly none of them seem to want to take responsibility so my advice is to file a BBB report on all three of these companies at least for being unable to give us a definitely answer as to who sold this number out. One of these three are lying when you call, so you might as well give it to all three of these guys until somebody owns up for it. You are the company you keep.

Iden***y thieves. They try to entice you into giving up personal info. by offering low interest rates for your credit card debt. I filed a complaint with do not call registry.

Just got a call from this number today (281-982-2498) but didn't get to it in time and they didn't leave a message. Tried calling back and the number just ends..doesn't ring or anything.

Its a credit card scam / spammer.

Pre-recorded message saying "This is an important call from your credit card company." ***g up because my credit card company doesn't have that phone # on file. Scam.

Received call from weird area code, I live in CA, all I got was silence. Came here to see what it was. Guess I was lucky.

Received a call from 281-982-2498 today on my cell phone---which is on the Do Not Call list. No message was left. I called the number a couple times later and all I got was a signal that it would not receive calls. Obviously spam. Based on the comments below it may also be a scam.

Some prerecorded spammer claiming to lower my credit card interest rate. Says it my "final" notice.. BOGUS!

I received a call from 281-982-2498 and when I answered there was a pre-recorded message telling me my credit card was "just fine", but that today was the last day to contact them to "lower my interest rate". The number they told me to call was the same number that came across the caller ID and that number "was not in existence" when I called it back. This ios ludicrous since the number called has been on the National Do Not Call Registry for some time now and, additionally, there was no point to this call since the message was pre-recorded and the number you were directed to was non-existent.

Called number back was disconnected

Spam call. We didn't answer but we called back and the number was disconnected.

Spoke with my banker and she said, no way would they do this, so a total rip off scam to get your info.

No one said anything and when I called back less than a minute later number was disconnected

Keep on getting calls from a supposed credit card company. Totally bogus call.
