My co-worker got a call from this number and they left 2 messages. Told her that she owed fines from her 2011 taxes. Asked her if she used a CPA. She told him that her parents took care of it. Then she told him that they use a CPA. He told her that she was ignoring the notices that she received in the mail. Told him she never got them. Asked him what address it was shipped to and he said that he had proof that they were delivered and signed for. When he was asked who signed for them, he said that he couldn't get that information right now. I then grabbed the phone to lay into him and he ***g up.

Have received calls from them two days in a row, it s****s out sounding a bit like a collect call... I just **** up, because you guys have convinced me that it's a spam call. Thanks for posting. RLTW.

I just received a call saying I owed the irs $2,145 and there was an arrest warrent for me. To stop the process I needed to go buy vouchers , I asked were the bank he said no rite aid. And I was not allowed to discuss this matter with ant third party.

I was trying to pay a fee to get this person's name. What do you know? there is no name. What reputable company will use their block cell phone to collect payment.

My fiancé just received a call from this number. This man told him that he owes the IRS $ 2000.00 and there is a warrant for his arrest. The person has the nerve to ask him if he he wanted to pay at $ 1000.00 today to stop the process. When the IRS need their money, they send you several letters, and certified letters, and they keep your tax return the following year. Please be aware of this thief.

Caller had a heavy Indian accent. Said he was calling from the Department of treasury and I should have a lawyer call them about an action that has been s****ed a***nst me.

Received two calls in San Diego from Roanna with a heavy indian accent claiming he is from the Department of Legal Affairs from the U.S. Treasury. Like the other comments, he claims that he is calling about some legal action and that we should call, or have our attorney call, to address the issue to avoid "a legal mess", and not to hide. Also, ends with a "god bless". The two messages are virtually identical and sound to be read from a script as it is monotone and mechanical.

The number when called dumps me right into a vm box. I have not received any legal papers or correspondence of any sort from a legal department of internal affairs ever. Probably a physhing scam. The also called at 6:15 am this last time. Thats seems pretty early to be contacting someone.

I have receivex 2 vm now from this number. The man says they are Roanna from the legal department of internal affairs. They are very hard to understand with an indian accent. Can hear other people in the background. Tells me if i dont call back he will take legal action on me at work and home. Tells me i am running away and hiding from them. Tells me my attorney should call to avoid matters getting messy. Ends call with God bless.
