This is for a Health Care Survey... I have been in the ER and Hospital a few times this past month. I keep getting calls on my cell from this number and when I called the: 800-473-1771 (at 11:00AM EST this morning) to have my number removed: I got a message saying "that for an Insurance Quote Press 1 and to speak to a Customer Service Rep press 2." I pressed 2 and got another message saying the Office is currently closed and to please call back between our Normal Business Hours Monday - Friday 8:30 to 5:30 EST. ***? I use an application on my Cell phone called Privacy Star, this app allows me to block numbers and even file complaints.

They called asking about my daughter being seen at the hospital and really don't know what they were talking about because I have lived here in Illinois for a year and a half and my daughter has never went to the hospital. So how did they get my number and my daughters name. People like this need to be ****, everyone is stuggling now a days and they just make peoples lives worse by trying to ***** them over more. They ***g up after I told them my daughter has never went to the hospital.

Call from 301-575-9366, HealthCare Market Research at 6:25 PM, 02/18/2009. Caller abandoned to give his telephone number to allow me call back. I have found it in my caller ID, but when I called back, the answering ma****e was turned on.

Call came to Kansas from Laurel, Maryland at 14:48 on 2-9-09. It was not answered and no message left. As others have pointed out, this is HealthStream Re (Research?) that take surveys of people who have recently been in the hospital.In fairness, on one of the sites there was a post from a lady named Carol who alleged to be employed by Health Streem. Here were her comments:___________________________________________"Your personal medical information is not shared with this company. Only your phone number and the fact that you visited the facility. We ask about the quality of the care you received, not about your health. We are only allowed to call 5 times, not allowed to leave messages because the wrong person might discover you had a health care experience. We can only talk to the person who had the experience which means your spouse or roommate can't answer for you. We are doing legitimate research for hospitals that is required by law. We use an auto dialer but it is set so there is always a person available to receive the call. We have a do-not-call list but it is limited to that one health care experience because we don't share info from client to client. THESE PEOPLE KEEP CALLING ME TO TAKE A SURVEY ABOUT MY LOCAL HOSPITAL. IT WOULD NOT BE A PROBLEM BUT JUST FROM 9AM THIS MORNING TO RIGHT NOW WHICH IS 2:49PM THEY HAVE CALLED 3 TIMES EACH TIME I HAVE TOLD THEM I AM AT WORK AND TO NOT CALL ME DURING BUSINESS HOURS IT HAS BEEN THIS WAY FOR THE PAST FEW DAYS NOW.
