I have skype and the other day I turned my caller ID off test how it works with skype in the event I want make a call where I did not want the receiver to see my number.  In calling my daughter with the ID off, she told me that the number that came up was 301-723-***4 instead of my regular number. Si I think the person who mentioned it as being an international number must be correct because that is the number skype used for my call ID in liew of my skype number.
