I received the same message but from Sammie Jackson [email protected]. Went back and forth with several emails and then received a certified bank check from Citibank for the amount of the car I was selling PLUS shipping charges to have it sent to the state where it needed to go. The check was remitted by: Isabella Moore out of ***thersburg MD. Called Citibank and spoke to someone there, they verified the routing number and account number. They gave me another number to call Monday morning, but told me I could cash it and any bank!! Still waiting to find out if it is a real check or not!!

i got this same reply too! What is usually their plan of action? I've heard people that receive their check but their are fake and are asked to report them to the police. Are these people ID theft? or they just like to make you believe their sending money for your stuff before you figure out its fake $$
A response from Craigslist in my email today: --*****o, do you still have this? I also got the exact same message in a response to my craigslist ad, complete with the same name and phone number. The email address I got it from was: [email protected] you notice, they never mention the actual item in the posting. This is a tell-tale sign of a scam.
Yep....I got one too...CL seems to be the target for BS....lol
I got an e-mail from the same person and due to the ambiguous nature, decided to do a quick Google search for the phone number. I stumbled onto this post, but found more first at 800notes.com, where the same message was sent to multiple posters. One person actually followed through with a business deal with 'Maria,' received a check, and was told by the bank that it was fraudulent and to report it to the police. Stay away from this person. The message below is what I received :"Hello, are you capable of repairing computers in volume ***** me an email back as soon as possible pls or you can leave me a message here on my phone number (301) 741-4870, I'm s***ch disabled though, remember to leave your name and email address when you call.PS: - You can just reply this email, I'm always with my computerMaria(301) 741-4870"
Yep! I got the same thing in response to a CL add! Wow ... the whole s***ch disabled thing and all! Thanks for posting! It was signed 'Maria' 3017414870and sent from this email address:[email protected]
I got the same response to a message. This is SPAM.
I got the EXACT same response from a craigslist ad. ***mer. Glad I didn't send my email address.
I also got the same exact message from a CL ad. I thought it was legit, but now that I see it is a common EXACT response, and asks for me to leave my personal info on a phone number, I don't trust it. Thanks for taking the time to post here.
I got the same response to an add placed on craigslist
