Because I have a part time job in the film industry I looked at his email as any other email and responded to it. Upon further reading I realized none of his information made sense and after I asked to meet him over zoom he has yet to respond. He keeps saying a film “in your area” with no specifics and wants to send a check to my address. Obviously fraud.

This person is on a massive spam/fishing whirl. He is claiming to be working with a production company (actually does exist) and is actually not connected to that production company what so ever (I have confirmed). He’s asking to hire me and went by the name Chad Troy. He was fishing for my address and is sending out fake checks in the mail. Don’t give our your personal information or resume!!

Eric Goodman is the name the scammer is using. He claims to work for Castle Rock Entertainment.
