Said they were Barclays and there was a possible fraudulent charge on my account. Wanted my date of birth and last 6 of SS#. When I said I wasn’t comfortable providing that they transferred me to a supervisor. I told them they have my account info in from of them they shouldn’t need my SS#. They told me to Google the number they are calling from to see if it’s legit. I ended I ****ing up on them.

Said I had fraudulent activity on my account. I called to verify. There’s no fraudulent activity.

Caller ID indicates Barclays Bank. Calls come in at various times--this morning at 8:41 a.m. No message is left. I've never heard of them. Believe this to be a spam call. I will be blocking them.

They call 6 times a day. When I pick up there is no one on the line, not even a dial tone.

I got a call from this number. They did not leave a message. I am thinking this is SPAM since they did not leave a message. If someone calls me and I do not answer my phone and they wanted or needed to talk to me they would leave me a message, correct? To call me from an UNRECOGNIZED phone number and then not leave me a message is SPAM to me!!!

It's a phishing call trying to obtain info, including PIN numbers. Someone stating he was 'Cameron' from Barclay Bank, stating the call was being recorded, but asked phishing questions: verify your date of birth and street address. After I ***g up, I called the # on the back of my credit card and described the call. They sent me to Security that had no record of anyone there contacting me.

idiots call my cellphone. they use different numbers thinking I'll answer it. Wrong. Why would I want to waste my cellphone minutes yakking about bills to them? How did they get the number in the first place? Hint: you have my housephone, and address. Leave a message, or mail me.
