Fed up with the calls? Capitol Hill is responsible for this mess. (Our crusty politicians). Check out the link and see what I did to these credit card collections hogs. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EWE_7H2a4mU

This # called me 5 times this morning in 45 minute intervals. I didn't answer their calls nor did they leave a message. I googled them & found this site. I am so glad I did because then I knew it was a scam for sure. They called a***n just a minute ago & I decided to answer it. There was a lady that I could barely hear on the other end of the line, I realized she was asking to speak to me (by name) & I responded w/ "how can I help you?". As soon as I finished speaking she ***g up. This really ticked me off cause I wanted to give her a piece of my mind. I was so irritated I decided to call these people back & just like everyone else on this site said I too heard a recorded message saying the call would be recorded. A man answered saying his name was Al & that he needed my card #. I told him that I wasn't going to give him anything because I knew it was a scam. He responded with "excuse me?", so I s****ed to say it a***n & he ***g up. It is annoying enough to get these calls but what upsets me most is thinking about the people that do fall for this sort of scam that don't know any better. I mean what if they do this to my grandparents.
They are calling my mother-in-law's house looking for my husband and myself about "our chase account"...only trouble is, the phone number here isn't listed anywhere in any of our contact info****ociated with our chase card AND there were no calls made to our home phone OR cell phones which ARE listed in our contact info...IT'S A SCAM! YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANIES WILL NEVER ASK YOU FOR YOUR ACCOUNT NUMBER!
They are looking for someone I do not know, who's warrantyon an appliance, car, whatever has expired. Never a person, always a recording. No one's had my cell # but me. I thinkit's a scam and they're making up random #'s to call and harass.
They called tonight, left a VM. I couldn't understand the message or the call back number because the guy had a thick heavy accent. They said they were from Chase. This is the second VM in a week and I called chase directly (using the number on my credit card not the number they left on the vm) chase said it wasn't them, but they will investigate it. This is DEF a scam!
Just got a call from that number on my business cell phone. The voice mail message sounded like a collection call... quick, garbled and with an accent from the middle east. How does one stop this???
From any of the above complaints, my daughter has a student loan, just deferred and if this is Chase, they have not been notified yet of the deferment. They have called 7 times today... Sunday of all days. I monitor my incoming calls...if I don't know who it is, I refuse to answer, letting my ma****e screen. Caller always ****s up when the ma****e comes on. I don't trust these places either.
I received a VM from this number. They called my direct line at my office(which I never give out) never addressed me by name, never identified the nature of the matter, other than stating "personal business matter". It's a pain
GOOD HEAVENS! Yes, they do call me about 10 times a day.I did call back that freaking number and it rings as they forward to another number and right away they ask for your credit card number.Area code 302 is Delaware in the US, but with the Internet phone services where you keep your number it could very well be someone who got a number in Delaware and now is operating from Pacific Islands of Tonga.
They called morning until night Friday, Sa****ay and Sunday. I told them the person they were looking for does not live here and they****ured me Sa****ay that I would be removed from their call list. Just got another call Sunday at 8pm. It really doesn't get any more annoying than this.
Call nonstop. I phoned them back; first thing you hear is this call may be recorded. Then an "Eric" came on the line said he was from card services and could he have my 16 digit card number. I immediately said do not ever call my cell phone a***n and his immediate answer was "We never did"! This is not from any card service....a scam for sure. Beware
they call, i pick up and they dont say ****. ugh is ****ing me offi blocked the number but it continues to call.
I called back and told them to remove my list that the person doesn't live here. I also told them if they don't remove my number i'm contacting my attorney!! They****ured me that it would take at least 24 hrs to remove it. I guess we'll see.
This number calls my cell phone 6-8 times a day. I am going through treatment for an agressive cancer and drive 80 miles every day for treatment. I need to have my phone for health emergencies, not annoying scams that use my minutes and tie up my phone. Isn't there anything we can do? They're calling right now!
This number calls my house at least five or six times a day, Sa****ays and Sundays. S****ed this Sunday at 8:00 am today and just received another call at 7:25 pm.
This is not a student loan center, this is a scamming operation looking for people to give them credit card numbers and personal information. There's nothing remotely legal about what they're doing and they don't care about do not call laws. They say they are chase. This DOES NOT mean they are chase. Give this number no information. In fact, never give out information over the phone unless you initiate the call.
They said my name and said that it was urgent to call them back about my car (don't know which one) and that the normal hours to call them back was 8am to 5pm my time. Funny thing is, is that the call was recorded after 5pm (5:09 to be exact)
302-282-8004: For those who don't know. This is from your student loan collectors - and they will never stop. The normal "do not call" laws do not apply to them, so count on them calling a***n and a***n and a***n. Also calling your neighbors, friends, people you just met once, and everyone else they can. Nothing you can do to stop them.
After dozens of calls - I called back. "Bruce" said that the call would be recorded and then asked for my card number. No way! I was able to give my phone number and tell him that my number was on the "no call" list. This number is now labled "annoyance call" on my cell phone & has a distinctive ring so I needn't answer it.
they call at 5am (illegal for collectors according to the FDCPA) and never leave a message. they call twice in a row and never leave a VM.
This number keeps calling me so I called them back and they said it was regarding my chase account but I dont have one. The crazy thing is they called my boyfriend 2 times then called my cell phone right after his. How they got our numbers is beyond me but its really annoying. They wake us up in the morning!! and I work 3rd shift so this really upsets me. Can I block their call?
