Most likely sallie mae... iM JUST GOING TO S**** ANSWERING TO F*** WITH THEM...A AND WASTE THEIR TIME... PLAY SOME MIND TRICKS... AND RECORD IT ALL... WE CAN MAKE SOME MONEY OFF THIS COMEDY THEY SAY FOLKS!

It is Sallie Mae asks for reference for someone else. ....  from a cellphone 302-416-0472 number.

they call me 50 times a day they need to stop!

this F* number is calling everyday at all times i would like to know who that is?

make them stop they are calling for a customer that had this phone number before me

this number is calling all the time every 5 mins... I have blocked them now stopped recieveing the calls now they are calling  from an unknown number and nevr leave a msg... I called number and it is SallE Mae loan company for student loans I HAVE NEVER HAD A STUDENT LOAN they are calling for the person that had this number before me and I cant make them stop!!!! I turned then into the FCC

Unfortunately, since Sallie Mae is a private loan company, they do not have to follow federal regulations regarding "unfair" collection practices.I have looked into anything & everything! I cannot believe that they are ALLOWED to continually HARASS people..even when you tell them to stop contact, they call from a different number.

My goodness...Sallie Mae really knows how to irritate people! They are unwilling to work with their "customers" whom they rip off! I cannot believe it..they call from at LEAST 4 different numbers..using automated calls..then once you actually do answer, it says "please hold for a customer service representative". Once the representative is reached, I then tell them to stop calling me & they claim "ma'am I do not even know who this is"...Really, after calling me NONSTOP at least 20 times a day..they have the NERVE to say they don't know who it is! RIDICULOUS!

Have you checked with your state laws? You may be able to sue them. According to the laws I live in it would be illegal for them to continue to call you and you could file a harrassment charge a***nst them at the police department. You may also have a case in court. Sallie Mae is an origianl creditor so they can get away with more than a collection agency can and they take advantage of it. That should be a crime!

I feel you on that they call call and call they even call the next day after I made my payment its f***ing harassment I wish I could sue them there making my life*****

what to do?

I receive incessant incoming calls from this number, even though my cell phone is registered on the government's Do Not Call list and I have told them to stop.  They are trying to reach the previous owner of my cell phone number.. lucky me!

You can file a complaint a***nst incessant phone calls at https://www.donotcall.gov/Click the "File a Complaint" ****on on the left of the screen.  Takes 2-3 minutes to fill out a simple form.

They are calling everyday non stop. at least 5 times if not more a day. I hit ignore and that just makes them call back even more. They also never ever leave a message. I mean come on how many people are really available all day everyday to answer there calls. Its ridiculous. I am so fed up with this.

this caller has been calling faithfully everyday 10am, 745pm, 5pm,9am, and various other times and its annoying.

They called me this morning at 8:18 and yes it does sound like Sallie Mae because as the previous comment states they call like 10 times a day or more sometimes.  Even if you are only a day late on a payment they go crazy calling and from all different numbers with different area codes!!!

this call is restricted and they call every 10 minutes... for hours at a time.

they call me 9 times a day EVERY DAY! they call at 7:18AM, ,7:56AZMZ, 9:43AM, 10:21AM, 12:07AM, 12:32PM, 2:05PM, 3:37PM, 5:26PM this is on the verge of harassment!
