We have received phone calls (about 9 ) in the past hour.  My husband is recuperating from back surgery and the calls are very disturbing!!!!!!!!  They sound like a fax number.  How can we stop this?

A man called from this number and said they were calling about a credit application I had filled out and kept me on hold and I finally ***g up and called the number back.  The message said this number was inactive and to call 1-800-441-7048 when I called that number it said the number couldn't be reached from my area code and to call the local number which they didn't give.  It was a complete run around.  DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE INFORMATION UNLESS YOU CAN VERIFY WHO THE CALL IN FROM AND A NUMBER YOU CAN RETURN.

Had info said they were a credit card company

These call's come all day up to the 2000 cut off time, never leave any message,I never take calls from calls that don't have all the information on my caller I.D.

When answered, the tone sounded more like a fax ma****e trying to send than a telephone call.

this call came with my sons name with it
