Chase Bank scammer phishing for info

Charges on credit card

Said they had my soscial security number an someone was applying for a chase Bank crrdit card or loan. Feb 11, 2025

Called my 80 year old mother offering 0% financing on paying off her.credit cards total scam.

Told me that someone tried to get a credit card under my name for $9,000 in North Carolina. I just ***g up on him

Said that they were verifying that someone had my i formation and trid to open a credit card for 9000 dollars in Ashland north carolina. Said they knew I did not live there an want to get more information. I ***g up on them

Did not answer & they would not leave voicemail. Called 12 x in 2 minutes.

Called and caller ID shows as JPMorgan Chase. The speaker has a VERY heavy foreign accent and tried to tell me that someone was trying to open a charge in my name but they noticed I am in Ohio and the address was in North Carolina and then they gave ME a social security number trying to get me to verify if it was mine. At that point I knew it was not so****ing the bank would do and ***g up. Called Chase and they verified this was a fraudulent attempt to get my information.

Caller said they were checking a fraudulent charge. Then transferred me to an internal number and a person who wanted to verify all of my other credit card numbers. Became belligerent when I pushed back. Follow up call to Chase was made and they confirmed this was a scam

Individual called wanting me to confirm my chase account card number. I do not have a chase card. What I have done I'd freeze my credit reports not allowing general public access to my information.

Kept calling me mulitiple times. Very rude. Wouldn't take no for an answer.

Called 2x, scam. Not Chase ban****

Claim they are Chase and are offering 0% interest on a crefit card account. Calls to get credit card numbers

Very persistent and very rude. Called back and wanted to know why we disconnected the call. We said we were not going to talk any longer and would contact Chase .

Line called every five minutes trying to get my credit card number

Think their scammers said their chase but their not chase bank
