This is a collections agency called Scott Lowery law Firm out of Colorado. They have a very bad reputation. They will call about a neighbor who isnt cooperating with them, so they figure by harassing you, you will get a message to them, embarrasing them enough to call them. Just threaten them with, you will contact the Colorado Attorney Board. I have done it, and they will leave you alone. Also, this firm is a bottom feeder. Meaning any old credit cards that companies write off. They will voluntarily take. So do your homework. As there is alot of illegal activity going on with this law firm.
dont pay these slime ***** they give out credit cards like candy never checkin credit because they ***** so many people for so much interest they can eat half the bad accounts and still make billions...unsecured credit means they get sh$%...they were giving out credit cards to every illegal alien with out so much as a social security number.. these pukes are sidious traitiors to america and to the honest hard working citizens of this country and they deserve to get nothing. Let them try finding 20-30 million illegal aliens that own them money on a credit card ...try messico city hahahahaha
These guys are s***bags -- third party debt collectors posing as Lawyers. They will call everybody and anybody that you have****ociated with and claim to be filing a law suit to collect a debt. There strategy... they want to help in your financial counseling. They will ask the details of how you are paying your current debts - typically car, utilities, phone, etc. then they will want bank information and possibly credit card into. They have already pulled your credit report to ***n an upper hand on you. Here is what you do. 1. Tell them you would like to have your lawyer talk to their in-house council and can you get his/her direct contact information so you may pass it along to your lawyer (don't worry if you don't have one). 2. DO NOT DISCLOSE any information regarding bank accounts, usable credit cards -- NOTHING. You are not required to disclose any personal information such as how you are covering the rest of your liabilities to these Hyenas. The only info you should discuss is very specific to the specific debt they are collecting.3. If they choose to file suit, make sure you a) don't get upset. B) contact a lawyer for help, C)put in a notice of appearance, D) above all DO NOT IGNORE the information as they maybe able to get a summary judgment a***nst you. In most states the courts are jammed with these cases and it could take 18 to 24 months to get a judge to hear the case, but you must follow the above A,B, C's.4. Assuming you do owe the debt, tell them the debt is in dispute as the credit card company overcharged fees and higher interest rates and that is why you are not paying. This creates a mess for the debt collector as they don't know who to believe. Furthermore, you will not pay them even if they cut the debt in half becuase the bank has ****ed your credit and before you pay any money back the bank must remove the entire account from your credit report (I've had 7 removed already). So, if they hit your credit bureau rating you can get it removed (which will take six months).Stay cool with these Hyenas, don't get upset with these scavengers. The cooler you stay, only discussing information regarding this debt, the more ****ed off they will get. Make sure you continue to ask them why are they getting so upset -- "I'm not mad at you why are you so mad at me" is the line I kept repeating. I found this phone call more like a sporting event. Thoroughly enjoyable and i can't wait till they call a***n.Lastly, if you do owe the debt and they continue to engage in this sport -- eventually you will be able to settle for 15% of the debt. They will be so tired of you, knowing there is NOTHING THEY CAN DO TO YOU. Regardless of what they say. Remember, they purchased the debt for about 10% to 15% of what you owe. If they collect more than 30% to 45% of the debt, they have to split it with the bank. Therefore, after a while and your debt having gone from Hyena to Hyena in their company, the proprietor of this Vulture Ville will just want to get their cost back.Good luck, stay strong and remember -- Unsecured Debt is just that Unsecured!!! Touch S**t Credit Card companies -- let the consumers now have their revenge!!!

This is the law office P. Scott Lowery - a collection agency. In my particular case, they were collecting for a written-off debt from Wells Fargo Financial Bank.As odd as it may sound from a debtor, this firm is very professional (at least in my dealings). They do have a job to do, which is to collect on the debts. However, they also understand that sometimes people don't pay their debts because they honestly don't have the money. That does not mean that they are going to stop calling, but they don't harass you, belittle you, call you horrible names, etc... like other law firms / collection agencies have a tendency to do.
This company keeps calling me asking for a Juan Bernal.... I stated that there is no one by that name here, and the lady on the other side said "are you sure" I was like um... yeah sorry no one here by that na*****ey made me feel like I was lying... she said they wouldnt call anymore but they keep calling me. Its driving me crazy
this lady called leaves a message to call back on the 800 number so i did and no answer. She calls back and asks if it was me, which i thought was odd. I told her I just got laid off and didnt have money and when I did I would pay my debt to the right people. Since then she has called back once and I did not answer.
THEY KEEP CALLING ME AND ASKING FOR SOMEBODY I DONT EVEN KNOW. AND THEY WOULDNT TAKE MY NUMBER OUT AND ALL THEY COULD SAY WAS THANKS FOR NO HELP AT ALL I WAS LIKE *** AND THEY REALLY HAVE NO IDEA THAT I ALSO WORK IN COLLECTIONS SO I HAD A REAL GOOD COME BACK FOR THEM THEY JUST ***G UP ON ME...... HA HA ****A'S
This number appeared on my main business line. They transferred to my extension and ***g up after 1 ring - not enough time to pick up on my end. Very strange, but I have found nothing but bad news on this number through Google.
They keep calling me and ****ing up. Its really annoying.
it's a collection agency and NOT a Law office. They try and scare you into believing they are an attorney, whe nin fact they are not. It's high presure collections....and yes they buy debt. These guys are actually franchised - there are no attorneys involved. You can actually negoiate with them and pay a HUGE fraction of wha tyou might owe.If you do not plan on paying - send them a CEASE AND DECIST letter and they WILL go away. By law they must stop contacting you. It's a reallt s***my business.
It's a law office that deals with collections. It doesn't matter if they are calling the wrong person, they will continue to call. And don't be surprised if they are calling about someone you may know, such as a neighbor or family member. They actually sent a letter to my uncle regarding me! It is amazing what these collections people will stoop to.
I just got one from this number, too. I just went through a month of three to four times a day calls from 800-658-0074. With both numbers, no VM left, no caller id. The 800 number turned up on several scammer lists, too. I set both numbers as contacts and specified "no ring" on my phone. Still, it's annoying. I
Keep receiving calls from this number 303-218-7550. They are looking for someone that does not live at this residence. I tell them wrong number but they continue to call. I'm planning on filing a complnt with BBB and the DNC registry.
Just received this call yes****ay. 303-218-7550 x 1385 and left the toll free number of 866-202-0021. thought it odd that a lawyer would call me so I checked and and tada.. it is surely a scam. Thanks everyone for putting your notices out here.
THESE PEOPLE ARE SO RUDE!!! I had a message to call 1-866-202-0021 to try and settle a debt. I called and offered them 500 of a 900 debt I had. It was all the money I had and they would not accept it. I tried to explain to them I was a single mother going to school full time and living on almost no money and the woman...Mrs. Heaton stated " Don't blame you child for your financial debt." After being nice and trying to pay off my debt I LOST IT. Talked to a "supervisor" but he ignored the comment she made and was still trying to get more money that I didn't have out of me...What do I do?? I want to settle this debt but they are out of line..
Got a call yes****ay left on my vm asking for me by my name and then asking me to forward their phone nbr to my brother - of whom they were looking to speak with. As if I would ever do that! Creeps!
I got a call from this number today 12/14/07 First they asked who I was then I said excuse me. Then they identified themselves as Lowery Law Office. They gave me a name of a women and ask me if I knew this person. I said no, what makes you think I would ? They seemed very surprised that I did not know who they were talking about. I asked them a***n, why they thought I should know this person and the reply was that maybe they had this number in the past. I said I have had my number for 7 years. Very strange phone call.
I got a call from this number on today but like the person above I didn't call it back.
I keep on getting called from this #, asking for someone else. I tell them wrong # but they keep calling.
Got a call from this #. Left message saying it was in reference to someone I have never heard of. Wanted me to return their call to toll free number. I didn't and I never will.
Received a call from this #. No VM left. When I called back the receptionist answered with Lowery Law Office and did not know who may have called me or why.
