Leave a CommentSame thing happened to me and I am on t-mobile as well. Has anyone contacted t-mobile?
Has anyone contacted TMobile about this? I just recevied the same exact text, and it seems as if this is only a tmobile issue? Whatever you do... do not even call the number OR reply to the text!!
I also have T-mobile and this is not the first time I have gotten texts like this I just ignore them. Once it was for US Bank, one CitiBank. The only one I had an account with was US Bank for unemployment. I knew better than to call them, i contacted US Bank, and of course it is a scam to get your account numbers.
For those of you who might not know it, Main Source is a legit bank. So I pity the people who have accounts there and fall for this scam. If you Google the phone number in the text message, 303-674-1929, it was used in the past for a dating service out of Evergreen, Colorado. Sounds to me like that was a scam, too. In any case, area code 303 is in Colorado.
this is a scam plain and simple; somehow there are criminal out there that have gotten hold of either our tmobile numbers or emails address and they keep sending **** like this out. I got **** like this last year to. Just login on to ur tmobile acct and put up an email filter with so****ing recognizable from the message; they should stop. I think i am about to call tmo corporate and complain about the breach in info concerning our numbers. The number is coming out of Evergreen, CO

SCAMMERS! I also received the text message indicating that my bank account had been frozen. I am also on tmobile.
Another "Main Source Bank Account Frozen. Call at 3036****29" message here, T-Mobile customer as well.Same here
Another "Main Source Bank Account Frozen. Call at 3036****29" message here, T-Mobile customer as well.
I received the exact same SMS / text message in this exact format: Subject / Sender is "3654"When I open the text, the body looks like this:[email protected] / /MainSource Bank Account Frozen. Call at 3036****29I never heard of them before receiving this test and looked them up on line. Can't really tell if they are a legitimate financial ins***ution, but even if they are, doubt they are affiliated with these SMS / Text messages. I called the number and the recording does not identify a specific financial ins***ution. It immediately asks for your 16 digit credit card account number. Sadly, a lot of innocent elderly and young will fall for this scam. Don't fall for it.Cheers, Mykie
Yes, I am T-Mobile as well and my message reads the same. I just sent a complaint online to the FTC. I also tried to inform Main Source Bank via its website, but I could not find a way to contact anyone there. My fear is that somebody will actually fall for this scam. Please inform you friends and relatives, especially the elderly, not to fall for this.
I am on T-mobile, wanting to see if this is an issue with just T-mobile customer or others as well. Please let us know who your provider is.
I just got the same message
I received a text message today on my cell phone. It reads that my bank account at Main Source Bank has been frozen. To resume access to my account, I must call 303-674-1929. I do not even have an account at that bank. When I dial the number, a recording asks me to enter my account and PIN numbers. This is certainly a scam to get access to other people's money.
I just received the same EXACT sms text, it says [email protected]" Main Source Bank Account Frozen. Call at 3036****29
I Just got a text to call this number stating my bank account is frozen.
I JUST got that same text message. Any ideas? I googled it but didn't find any good answers besides this one, and I don't bank with Main Source.
