Caller identified himself as being from the IRS. Apparently obtained information from a nursing home facility regarding a resident who was a former federal employee and that the individual was possibly due some benefits. Very suspicious.
ASKED NUMEROUS QUESTIONS ABOUT MY BUSINESS. CALLER WAS PERSISTANT AND NOT SATISFIED WHEN I DID NOT REPLY WITH A "YES"
called a check cashing place asking for various customer files. Not only do we not share information regarding our clients the IRS will never call a store they usually send letters to our compliance manager and the compliance manager handles that. Never a regular teller at the store level
They claimed to be working on a special claim we have filed with the IRS. We have no such claim and never have. The person gave her name as so****ing like "Melissa Mariesee" and gave the call back # as (631) 977-6782.
IRS representative, want some information concerning old taxes and agreement to pay... ...I’m not sure, I will call the IRS to find out... she leave a number to call
