I’m texting this person who I met on a dating app. Just checking to see who he really is. A lot of scammers out there

My friend received a text from this number as part of an elaborate scam to meet a celebrity she likes, Alexander Dreymond. It’s obviously not him (or his people), but I’m not sure if they s****ed a real person’s number, or if it’s a “virtual number” so to speak. It has all the hallmarks of a blatant scam and I told her as much.
