got a call from 304-480-8600; my wife could not understand the extension number. I have no idea whocalled nor what they wanted. I am deaf so making a voice call to me is a waste of their time and mine.

Got a letter:WE ARE STORING A UNITED STATES SAVINGS BOND THAT WAS SENT TO THE TREASURY DEPARTMENT AS UNDELIVERABLE. THE BOND WAS PURCHASED AS A GIFT IN YOUR NAME BY A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION WHICH CLOSED ITS OPERATIONS. THEY HAVE ASKED OUR OFFICE TO LOCATE YOU AND FOWARD THE BOND TO YOU. I HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO REACH YOU BY TELEPHONE TO VERIFY YOU AS THE REGISTERED OWNER OF THE BOND.PLEASE COMPLETE THE BOTTOM OF THIS LETTER AND RETURN IT TO ME OR CALL(304)480-8600. 8:30am - 4:30pm monday- friday.Bottom of letter asked for: current address, city, state, zip, home number and social security. I called at 2:00pm and she wasn't there. Left a message and never called back.What do you thing about this info. they are asking???

Received call Aug.11 at 8:11 AM.  This time message was clear.  She identified herself as Kathy Miller with the Treasury Dept.  Had some questions for me regarding my recent inquiry.  Asks to return her call to 304-480-8600.  Caller ID reads 703-330-0318.

Caller's name sounds like Pam Or Cam McMiller or so****ing close to that. The message was not very clear.  Identified herself as being with the US Treasury, Savings bond Dept.  Was calling about a treasury inquiry I had made  Asked me to return her call to 302-480-8600, Ext. 297526, would be in until 4 today, Aug-7 and then not until Tuesday  at 8 am Eastern time.

Calling for info on a church savings bond, "may need social security number for id"
