Leave a CommentI just received 3 calls from this number as well!It amazes me that this number is linked to so many concerns, and nothing has been done about it.So much for the "tougher" telephone marketing laws.
The military sometimes calls with thisnumber to. So I think it simply hides the iden***y of the caller

Extremely weird call- he called several times before I finally picked it up- he said it was Chris so****ing, and acted like he knew me. May be tied to Skype, don`t know - but a little scary.
Had a really creepy guy calling asking for my underaged daughter, stating his name was so****ing like ***d ***ssard- said he was from England- s****ing using abusive language- called about 5 times in a row at 1:30 in the morning - we unplugged the phones.
Seems I just had a friend call me on Skype, and this number was what came up. So possibly some organizations are using Skype for spamming.
I'm working late and someone from this number kept calling someone in the next office. They kept calling back, but I didn't want to answer it because it wasn't my phone. Thought I'd check on here to see what the deal was. Called at 6:28 and then a***n at 6:30 for sure, maybe more.
Received a call from this number while I was at work yes****ay. He called my work phone, and asked for me by name. Stated that it had so****ing to do with my VISA, but I had trouble understanding him because of his accent. I explained to him that he called me at work, I was busy, and explained that I had to end the call. At that point, he s****ed shouting at me to stay on the line, so I ***g up on him. Must be a scam because I do not have an active VISA account.
this nummber called me today then three unknow phone calls followed. did not answer any of them
These guys won't stop calling. I don't answer the call when I see it is this number but I would like to know who keeps calling me from that number. Who is it?
S****ed receiving a call from this number today. Conveniently they happen while I am out of the house but I check my phone and no message is left. Tried to call back to find out who it was and I was told the number was equipped for outgoing calls only. What gives?
Recieved a call from this number shortly after another unknown call was recieved. Did not answer, but attempted to call back because I thought a relative was attempting to contact me. Was told the number was equipped for outgoing calls only.
We have been recieving calls from this # for the last 5 years. They call 3-4 times then stop calling for a few weeks then it s****s a***n. Sask tel security advises that you call 1-800-980-5464 and have your phone # removed from their system.
Major spammer, POSSIBLY based in Saskatoon, SK, Ca***a. This is one of the outfits that uses "predictive dialing", meaning they will dial several numbers at once: the first to answer gets spammed, all the others get a dead-air call (otherwise known as harassment). The interesting thing is, when I try to add this number to my "Selective Call Reject" feature, I get a recording saying that feature will not work with that number. Phone company tells me it's because it is a "display number" only, the actual number is different (so what?). However, while the telcos won't prevent their biggest customers from spamming its smaller ones, some neat software I acquired called "Identafone Pro" sure does--works with your modem and plays a disconnect signal to whatever number you want (or range of numbers, like all of a given area code). One last ring only, then blissful silence.
My wife and I use Skype and occasionally that is the number that shows up on call display. Quite often however it is 000-123-4567.
***g up without leaving a message on ma****e.
