Leave a CommentI am also one of the lucky ones that continues to get calls from this number, although I have no current debts that would go to collections. Every time I answer, all I get is silence, no answer, no recording, just quiet. I would ignore it, but reside in WY, so I'm cautious it may be family. Now that I know, I have a POST IT next to the phone.
A man called my husband's cell phone. He didn't ask for any person in particular. When my husband said*****o, the man said he was calling from a "Mack Dealer". My husband was confused, and said "I don't know what you're talking about." Then the man said "Maybe I got the wrong number.", and he ***g up.When I Googled the number, which looked like it was from long distance, I came up with this website and other complaints. Now I see it's a collection agency, but I don't understand why they're calling my husband's cell phone, when we have no accounts in collection. Also, why did the man say he was calling from a "Mack Dealer"? My husband's had his cell phone and the same number for three years now, and this is the first time he's gotten a call from this number (307) 324-6693. Because of someone else's comment, now I have their address. So if they call a***n, I will write them a letter to ask them to refrain from calling our cell phone. Besides being annoying, it uses up our minutes, which are NOT unlimited. So these calls cost us money, and it's money we'd rather spend talking to the grandkids on the phone, not some stranger from a collection agency who has us confused for someone else.
This number calls all day and all night and then they **** up and continue calling. I am A disabled parent with two children in school and it is getting to the piont to mwhere I have to unplug my phone line after 5pm so my children can concentrate on doing there home work and get rest before school. It is very harassing and im fixing to file suit a***nst the numbers owner if it continues any longer this month, seems it has been going on since october of 2009.
Call shows up at my office as "blocked" when I answer they **** up. When I call back a debt collectors service answers. The collection calls are more than likely for one of my employees. I thought it was a***nst the law to call people at work.
Got a partial message from this number, the message skipped who it was from or what it was regarding and cut in at "please contact this number regarding case #..." and to call an 800# and dial an extension. I googled the number to see who it was and the list of comments are consistant and painted a clear picture for me. Hope this helps, I love in FTC and will wait to see if I continue getting calls before investigating further.
The calls are from CCI, a collection agency registered in Wyoming (although using a Fort Collins, Colo. mailing address) ??? Linda Russell is listed as the owner, and the calls from 307-324-6693, although a Rawlins, Wyo. prefix, trace back to an apparent CCI employee, Angela Edwards of Casper.Public records also list email addresses of [email protected] and [email protected] for Linda and [email protected] for Angela. Their mailing address is P.O. Box 4000, Rawlins, WY 82301.It's true that CCI's tactics of using automated dialing to contact supposed deadbeats -- and then requesting them to return the call without explaining why -- are ****** and deceitful. However, it appears they are operating barely within the law, albeit in a very questionable and unethical manner. It's ironic that the owner is a long-time member of Wyoming's Collection Agency Board, a regulatory body, which a**** other duties, is tasked with investigating complaints and the conduct of licensed collections in the state. Therefore, any complaints filed a***nst CCI are going to go right back to her. Talk about the fox wat****g the henhouse! The previous posters are correct that the best way to stop an outfit like CCI from repeatedly calling is to notify them (in writing) to stop doing so. Instead, ask them to submit the proof of debt in writing. You are still liable for paying outstanding amounts, but at least you will have the opportunity to review the information for accu****.Be aware that Wyoming law (W.S. 33-11-101...116) requires that if the first contact from a collection agency is made by phone, the agency must send you a written notice with the pertinent information about the supposed debt.

Claims not to be solicitation, retun number is an 800 number. 2nd similiar all, same message. A matter of interest to us. Call er id shows this Rawlins Wy number as source.
They ask for no one but want me to call back referencing a file number. They don't state who they work for either. It is getting annoying.
Someone trying to call me to verify employment in my company of a person who does not exist and would not answer who was calling, just kept repeating themselves.
yep same thing. they keep calling me and i keep calling them back telling them i'm not who they want.
Annoying call with phone messages
Never said who they wanted to talk to and I don't have any debts so I will ignore call. They did leave some return call information, but I don't care to bother with so****ing which doesn't concern me.
Received a call from this number and it was a pre-recorded message refering to a personal matter and I should call back an 800 number and reference some "case number". Only called once so far but I don't need this ****.
The call at all hours and leave no message. I looked them up and the are CCI.
I kept getting calls from this number, which I have nothing to do with , my cell phone is a business cell phone which my company pays for me and I have been using this number for almost 5 years. Its very annoying to keep getting calls from this number.
I receive a phone call from this number at least one per week, sometime twice per week. Each time they leave an automated voice mail message telling me to call some "1-800" number and they mention this is "not a business call." It's annoying as*****. I know that the number is based out of Wyoming, and I don't know anyone from Wyoming, nor have I had any business interactions with someone from Wyoming.
They are a collection - attorneys office out of Wyoming. They are collecting on bad debts. Ans have been nice to remove numbers when they no longer belong to who they are looking for. If you call the 800 number they leave during there normal hours you can talk to a live person.
They are a debt collector for several medical facilities in the Cheyenne, Wy and surrounding area.
I am continueing to get calls from this number. It is a computer generated message stateing "this is a law office. We are call ing regarding a personal buisness matter." I just ignore them
left message to call another number
