Male (sounded American, no accent) asked for my mother by her 1st name only on my cell phone number. 2 red flags. When I asked what the call was regarding, he said he could lower her medicare premium now that she's receiving full benefits. 3rd red flag. Then when I said she doesn't have full medicare he said he'd note his file and ***g up.

Trying to help me get my refund back, had to do verification so that he knew I was not a scammer. Had me send money he said was virtual to someone I knew and they sent it back but instead it was actually coming out of my bank account. Once it came back through, the scammer had it requested and accepted into a fake profile that belongs to the scammer.

Took 197.00 from my account by claiming to work for cash app customer service
