Said i qualified for lower interest rate on credit card. When I said I had no credit card they ***g up. When I redialled it said it was a non working number

Caller was asking me for credit card information to check status. I'm not really sure if it was legit or not so I ***g up. Hopefully it wasn't anything bad. Just wanted to pass along the information incase it was a scam. Hopefully not!
