Same text message.  This is a bogus message - possibly fraud.  My carriet (US Cellular)checked what they could, but could not block it w/o blocking other incoming calls.Message was 'from': [email protected]

I received the same message last night.  I called it and someone answered but I ***g up without speaking to anyone.  I called both my banks this morning and they both****ured me that they would never contact me via text or email.  And they both said it was a scam.  I thought it was phony.

One web search shows it is a landline and the carrier is MCI WorldCom.

I recieved the same message.  I live in ac 309.  i called the number and pushed no ****ons to select anything.  I just ***g up.I feel it is phoney or fraud or phishing.  I will call by cell phone carrier to see if they can add anything.

Consumers, this is a phising scam. Do not call the number and DO NOT give out any information to anyone.  Your bank will not contact you via email or text message asking you for information.  If you are concerned about your credit card or atm card, call your bank directly from the number you know to be true. Got the same text. I used a landline to call the number back to figure out who it was. Was automatically forwarded to a voice mailbox.  No other info was given.

I received a text from the number 309-550-5633 as well.  It says "Finance Center Alert: Your card has been DEACTIVATED. Please contact us at 309-550-5633 to REACTIVATE your CARD." Came from [email protected].  I can not find it on the web.

got a text message from Finance Center stating that my card has been deactivated and to call 309-550-5633 to reactivate the card.  I only bank with one company in the 309 area code.  I'm not from this area originally.  this is very su****ious.

got a text from finance center saying my card has been deactivated, please call 309-550-5633 to reactivate card.  Was very su****ious since i moved out of that area code, but haven't c****ed my number yet.  I do not have any accounts that come from that area code.  Got on internet and looks to be the same thing.
