Leave a CommentSame deal. Several messages from Brian at Prize Claim Center. Choice of three prizes, etc.
Got a call from Brian. I called the number back and the recording says "You've reached 309-928-2682. If you are calling for Brian press one or press 2 for Michelle." I ***g up before the beep.
Brian called just the other day claiming the same. That someone entered a contest and he has an email that he can resend to me stating so****ing about the entry that he's "supposedly" got. He sounded pretty real. As in not sounding like most telemarketers. But, I listened to the voice mail a few times. He never mentions the name of the person on the entry form.Odd.Wants a callback to a residential phone number in IL at 309-928-2682. A real contest winning entry would have a 800# as a callback. This person has a few numbers in the 309 area code, so watch out! I did a little internet research.
I also got called about winning the Linclon Navigator, vacation or 32" TV from Brian. I didn't bother to call back.
I get a call about once a month from this guy from "The Prize Claim Center", stating I may have won a Lincoln Navigator or a trip for 4 or some such ****. I don't recall entering any contests of any sort to win anything, I make it a habit not to enter that kind of thing for a reason, so this seems fishy to me. Haven't called the number he left seeing as it's long distance, but more importantly, I want to have the biggest laugh and ************* extended and ready when good ol' Brian asks me for a credit card number and expiration date "to verify my age" - YEAH RIGHT. I'm on the Do Not Call List, think I'll report this little shady phone call to the FCC.
Offer from Brian. I won a contest, but they didn't say my name or what contest.
