Called me this morning.  I could hear that someone was there, but didn't respond to me.  It sounded like a call center in the background.

Called today...asked for me but I said I wasn't home and then they ***g up

Keeps calling but not leaving messages.

i guess this guy doesnt have much to do keeps calling all the time

Called me, saying that I had won a prise from "Dreams Come True sweepstakes"Said that my name had been entered by "a major credit card or national bank"Told he that would be quite a trick since I do not hold a credit card and do not bank with any national bank. She said I would be notified by certified letter of my prise and then said have a nice day. I don't know where she got my number. Been getting a lot of marketing and **** up here lately though. must be time to up date the do not call registry.

I called my bank after receiving this call to make sure that I was notified of any charges. They told me to keep a close eye on my accounts and to call as soon as I anything odd so they can correct it and try to find the person who is behind it. They said that phone numbers like this have been calling and then making numerous charges for "fees" on accounts. The longer you wait after one of the "fees" have been removed, they said it is harder to correct.

A man called from this number saying I was entered into a sweepstakes to win money, a car, or some other prize. He then said that I was able to get 3 free magazine subscriptions. He asked me to confirm my address and the asked me how the weather was. I told him I didn't want any of the magazines and then said "well bye then" making fun of may accent and ***g up. This call came after one before from 866-280-4252 offering me free gas and food coupons if I pay a $1 intro rate for some program. They talked to fast for me to understand.

we received a call three times yes****ay from an "unknown name". the first two times it was dead air and my husband ***g up, the third time it was a woman saying that we had won the "Dreams come true sweepstakes". My husband told her no and that we weren't signed up for any sweepstakes and ***g up on her. I believe that is was the same people all three times that called from the "unknown name". I know this is a scam but not alot has been reported about it. So watch out for the "unknown name" caller now too.

Received a call from this number and the guy was telling me about the sweepstakes as well and about sending me magazines. He called me sir and laughed when I would get upset. He also called me back several times after I ***g up on him. I have since been calling the number back myself over and over a***n & they have some kind of ma****e that makes noise and they act like we have a bad connection. He don't **** up though... I wait until the noise stops and I can here him and then he ****s up. I am going to report them to the police.

This number has called me numerous timesand I can't answer since I'm at work.  They call me about 4 times a week on my cell phone.  My name is on a DNC list and I'm still getting these calls.  It's aggrivating.  Anyone know how to get them to stop?

I just received a call toady from 1-310-370-9486 on my cell phone.  The lady asked for me by name. I asked "Who is this?" She said she was from a sweepstakes clearing house. I she kept asking for me by name but I would not confirm that it was me.  I then told her that she has reached a cell phone.  She kept trying to get me to confirm who I was. I did not give in and continued to flip the script and ask her questions. She said "OK, well I will just have to ask my supervisor how to handle this..."  My advice: Never confirm who you are to this types of calls. That sometimes gives them "confirmation" to go ahead and use your information (if that is their intention).  Also, if you actually won anything, you would be contacted in more ways than just the telephone (ie. certified mail). You provided your address when you entered the sweepstakes, correct? If they really have a prize for you, they will find you.This was not my first call from this number. The first time I received a call, the caller did not say anything and I just heard papers ruffling. I called back and heard same thing, no one would say anything, but I could tell someone was there.  Today, when I try to dial back, I get a busy signal.    Anyway, su****ion got the best of me today and I did a reverse lookup. It shows:K & H Okeefehome5506 Carmelynn StTorrance, CA 90503-1210(310) 370-9486VERIFY WHO THEY ARE FIRST BEFORE YOU ALLOW THEM TO VERIFY WHO YOU ARE.  THEY SUPPOSEDLY HAVE YOUR INFORMATION IN FRONT OF THEM...RIGHT?

I received two calls from this number in a matter of one hour. Didnt answer the first one, no message was left the second time I answered and they ***g up. It seems to me that mostly woman posted here and fortunaltey (I guess) I have a sore throat and my voice is ho**** and scratchy (maybe they thought I was a guy and ***g up)

I RECEIVED A CALL FROM THIS PHONE NUMBER LAST NIGHT  310-241-0648.  I DID NOT PICK UP THE PHONE.  I AM VERY THANKFUL FOR THAT AFTER READING WHAT HAS BEEN HAPPENING

I looked up this phone number and I got an address for this number 310-241-0648 the name on the phone number is Carmen Vidal, and the address is 704 S Pacific Ave in San Pedro, CA 90731. I have been harassed all week from a 310 area code number I mean some really scary things have been text to me and said to me on the phone. The police department finally took me seriously and called this guy not the same number that were talking about a different 310 number my husband called this guy and he said he was scared the police called him and he was just trying to scare me but nothing this serious anyways he said he got my number from his friend that works at this 310-241-0648 number so I looked it up and got this. So I called San Pedro Police department they said I needed to file a complaint in my own state they couldn't do anything but I think if all of us call and complain about this they'll take it serious I don't want any body else to go through what I have, being scared for my life. Please call your citys police department and do a complaint and then call San Pedro Police department they are going to say they can't do anything but if they recieve more calls maybe they will.

I have been receiving phone calls from this man that to me seemed like he was a stalker he was telling me he could see me Etc. I asked him where he recieved my number he told me some guy name Jiemee gave him my number I have been dealing with this since last Friday. Today my husbands friend calls this guy and they said they got my phone number from a guy that works for a telemarketing company. A guy from this number called me last friday saying I was entered into a sweepstakes all i nedded to do is give them my address so they can give me some magazines I told him I wasn't interested and ***g up he called me back and asked me if we had been disconnected I said no I ***g up because I am not interested. Right after that I recieved a call from this guy from a 310 area code I have a police report on this guy but now I know its from this place I am not as peranoid

Man presented himself as a representative for theDREAMS COME TRUE SWEEPSTAKES.  He stated he had my address and wanted to know if I wanted to parti****te in the sweepstakes that my bank or credit card had reported as being in good standing.  Seemed like a scam to me also --I asked him which  bank referred my name and he said a National bank.  could not tell me which  one....I asked him to tell me what address he had and the city was incorrect....he then asked me if I wanted him to remove me from the list...I said yes.. and he ***g up.

Said they were with Publisher's Clearing House... same stuff about my credit card company giving them my name because I was in good standing which I KNEW was a scam cause my credit card defaulted... My only concern is that they already had my home phone #, cell phone #, name, and address. I want to know how they got it.

Woman presnented herself as a repesentative for the DREAMS COME TRUE SWEEPSTAKES. She stated she had my address and wanted to konw if I wanted to parti****te in the sweepstakes that my bank or credit card had reported as being in good standings.  It felt to me like a scam since my banking ins***ution had not informed me of such sweepstake.
