got a call from 3102412966, I didn't answer but it showed up as Hearst, Inc

I just signed up for the do not call list a few days ago because of annoying phone calls. I'm glad to know this is just another number I can avoid in the future.

Had two calls from this number in about 15 minutes. I did not answer the first time, but the second time I picked up. She said she was with Hearst, a publisher's clearinghouse. I informed her that I am on the national do not call list, and she replied "ok" and ***g up without another word.

This place keeps calling me, I usually don't pick up because I don't know who they are. Some lady said I was chosen as a finalist in some sweepstakes and my credit card company or bank had entered me in it. I don't have any credit cards and I belong to a credit union, not a bank. The lady wanted to verify my address and I told her I don't do any of this stuff over the phone and ended the call. I tried to call the number back and got a busy signal. Sounds su****ious to me.

caller said she was from publishers headquarters and my bank or credit card company entered me in this sweepstakes.  The caller wanted me to verify my address.  She read out the correct address, but I never verified it for her.  She told me I won one of 3 prizes blah blah...  I put the number into a reverse lookup and it comes up with and address and name.  I will report this to the do not call list.

missed call from 310-241-2966.  tried to call back but it was busy everytime.  probably a scam of some sort...

got a call from this number and they **** up or ask for my wife and wont tell me who they are they **** up tried to call the number back its either busy or no answer its reilly annoying

received call, didn't know number and i didn't answer, couldn't call the number back it gave me a busy signal

They knew our address and wanted sell magazines. We have been on the Do Not Call list for 2 years.

Received call from this number on my cell,they did not leave a message and when I tried to return the call there was not answer.

these people called me on 1-24-08 in the evening. she said she was from publishers clearing house and i was entered in the drawing to win a number of prizes and cash. she said they got my number from my credit card company and wanted to verify my address. she said that i can receive free magazines and my choice of some kind of mens or womens watch. i told her now thanks to the offers and she wished me good luck with the drawing. a few minutes later this ladies supervisor called back and wanted to see how well the first lady handled the call. she then went into the same s***ch the first lady had said. she wanted me to sign up for 6 magazine subscriptions and really pushed to get all 6. i asked her to sent some info so it would be easer for me to pick the magazines. she said that they had to do it on the phone. so we got 6 picked and the she said that there is some weekly charge and some monthly charge. i said that i thought they were free, that is what the first lady said. she then got smart with me and got an at***ude so i ***g up. when i call the number back it is busy.

Got a call from this number, dead silence on the other end.  I ***g up.  I don't get many wrong numbers, particularly not from California.  I am in Dallas.

Hi. They called our house, and on the answering ma****e i just got some ******tic ravings... "It's not easy"... "Eat when I get home"... really strange. I hope it's a wrong number.
