Called but left no message. Got # from caller-id. Tried calling back to constant busy signal every day. Have no idea who or what?!

One call at mid-afternoon, another at 3.45 a.m. my time; caller ID does not pick up that this is a Verizon number (my cell carrier) so I did not answer, as I no longer answer calls that are not identified as someone I know and I"m receiving a lot of spam calls on my cell, despite long term registration on Do Not Call list. ie- companies wanting to reduce my mortgage or credit card interest rate, but I don't have either.

Automated call offering to lower interest rate on credit card. Definitely spam, possibly fishing for info also.
