Do you know this for sure?

I got the call to and they are calling from 2 different numbers one is 310-359-0444 and the other one is a 916 area code and 4 -0's at the end of the number.  They have been threaten me and everything.  When you call back you get the same person, and how often does that happens?  Sounds like a scam to me.

I had the same phone numbers calling me. I was scared to ***** and was about to set up a pyament plan. I don't remember getting any money but I was willing to pay to get them off my back.  I am so glad I ran up on this website.  This is really a scam right?

I just got a call from this number!!!  Scared me half to *****!  Left a voicemail that his name was T. Jones and was stating that my attorney needs to contact them and that the sheriff would be coming to my house tomorrow to give me the paperwork.  stated that I took out an online cash advance and when the company tried to extract the funds they were unable.  This person with an indian accent read me this entire affidavit telling me that I had 3 allegations a***nst me for Federal fraud.  When I asked him what he was talking about, he told me my attorney needed to contact his attorney immediately to avoid going to Jail -- and then he ***g upMy husband called them back and they told him that they were going to sue him for harrassment for calling.Thank God for forums like this one!  I knew I hadn't done anything like this, and was so confused!

Hey i just got one of those calls and they said that they were pressing charges agenst my husband for bad checks or so****ing like that... what do i do .... Is this a scam or what....

I get so many calls from these ******s. They all have the same script and cant deviate for s**t. I am coming up with incredible ways of messing with them. My favorite to date, has been repeatedly calling them with my headphones cranked up and next to the speaker on my Iphone. When they answer they get a full ear blast of System of a Down, or Slipknot any metal that I have to irritate and aggrivate. Best song thus far though was Lords of Acid, Show me your P***y, they actually listened for a minute and a half before ****ing up. Other favs include, answering the phone, f**k you? in the nicest possible tone and saying only that the entire convo, generally wont last long. The Ref Whistle, everytime they try to talk, **** IT. Or anytime they interupt you, **** IT, its your choice, I opt for ****ing it when they interupt me, they stay on the phone longer in hopes of over talking me. Lets make it fun for us since the government cant do jack about this situation. Push back when they call. THEY CALL YOU, you have the right to say whatever you want. I told the woman who called me this morning I was going to fly to India, sacrifice her cow on her desk, and bring the meat back to TX for a redneck BBQ. Get creative.

It was a debt collector.

I had a person call me today with an accent I could not understand. what i did get out of the message is that either i or my attorney of record needs to call him {shawn} right away. he ended the call by saying if i did not return his call the only thing he could do is wish me good luck on the situation that will follow. sounds like a threat to me.
