Number belongs to con artist and fraud in the Palm Desert, Donald Martin Baker. 78 yo, gray pony tail, 6'4. Arrested in 2018 for stalking & abusing women who had filed restraining orders. 5 Women in Palm Desert currently have protection orders against this man who tried to rob them. Entire forum dedicated to him. Be careful/report any contact from this criminal & his numbers to local authorities.

Same guy again. He said his name is Steve Wynn, on a plane, was referred by someone he can't name. Said he used to live at Bel Air Hotel, is related to Larry Ellison and Four Seasons owner. Said he's from Hawaii, wants to buy in Palm Springs or Del Mar San Diego. Using a new number to call from and har*** which is 702-704-5985. Asks lots of questions, when asked a question back he hung up.

He's back in the Coac****a Valley and has a new phone number 805-335-3020. I met this jack*** at the Nest in Indian Wells and he was spouting off all this BS that everybody commented on above. Same story

Beware of this guy, he is extremely dangerous. He is a full scammer, and liar, had elaborate stories of wealth.. He claims to be related to the founder of Oracle. He came to my house wanting to rent a room and after getting to know him a little better his lies and literally psychotic talk was unbearable. I told him to stop calling me and to stay away otherwise I was going to get the D.A.

Was rude & insulting, difficult for me to understand. Would ask questions and was extremely rude & insulting after I would respond, I let him know I thought he was rude & he hung up after he called me fat.

Of Larry Ellison. Called me up asking about Kaua’i. Said he’d never heard of it. Asked me what he could buy for $16m. When I started telling him what was available, he said that’s ridiculous. I’m not desperate and hung up! Weird.

I’m a realtor he said he wanted to buy 50 acres anywhere in Southern California he had up to $5 million. Very strange very fast talking cut me off and asked for a referral for someone who knew how to work with 50 acres or more and had to be a female. That’s when my red light went on.

As others mentioned, his voice was deep and he kind of sounded scary. Please be careful everyone.

Said he was calling about a commercial property that I had not returned his call for a month. Called early Saturday and Sunday morning. Returned his call and when I asked him his last name hung up on me.

I’m a realtor. He called claimed he was on a plane from Maui to California. Said he has a very expensive property in Newport Beach to sell and wants to buy a horse property. Asked about the size of my brokerage. When I asked for the address of the property he wants to sell he hung up.

Weird call! Asked if I was Realtor he supposedly got my information from someone at the Mission Inn but didn't want to give any information and said I was doing too much investigating. Claims he wants to buy a 3 million dollar home in Palm Desert. He must have caught on that I believed it was a weird call and hung up! Creepy deep but soft voice very quiet in the background.

Person kept asking questions about our real estate brokerage and as soon as I asked who he is and what he wanted he acted as if he couldn't hear me. PFFT.

This whack job called me apparently from an airplane to Phoenix from California asking me what company I work for only to insult me then hang up on me. He has deep, rich voice (sort of) an was BEYOND rude. I smell a psyhco!

Calling from Beverly Hills was given my number from another Broker who moved to LA. Did not want to work with a large Brokerage. Told him I was our own company. He asked who. When I said my husband he dropped the call. Run for sure!! He seems a little scary.

Called a business line claiming to be related to an old CEO, tried claiming that a murder, theft, or robbery had taken place. Took an unusually long time to give me a name and kept mentioning an attorney's office. Called with this number and then again several times as Anonymous. Very gross predatory voice and arrogant demeanor.

Caller targets real estate agents claiming to have $16M home that he would like to sell on Harbor Isle in Newport Beach. When asked how he heard about me he answered that an out of area agent referred him, but did not say who, what area or what brokerage. He says he is tiered of all of the realtors with white teeth and blonde hair and he wants some one to help him that will work well with him.

Har***ing and non stop phone calls, text messages and emails.
