I've had several calls from this number. They leave no messages. I want them to stop calling!
I got a phone call from Publisher Headquarters in California just yes****ay... (310) 973-2214... Same thing pretty much. The woman told me I won a sweepstakes. My name they said had been submitted by my Visa or Master Card when I informed her that I do not have a credit card she said it must of been my bank who submitted my name. When I asked her how she got my phone number she ***g up. I phoned back was put on hold. When another woman answered the phone I told her to remove my phone number from their list. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY INFORMATION!! Major Scam.
I received a call from the same number 310-370-9781 and also number 310-657-1700...asking to verify my name ( the 657-1700 #) said they are going to send me stuff in the mail. I said wasn't interested and not to send it and he continued to talk over me. When asked where he got my information -he said he didn't have that information but it was because I had ordered so****ing through one of their affiliated business' ****S! I received another call today and from the (1700) but they didnt leave a message -and when i called back no one answered. I reported it to Fed trade commission telemarketing .I suggest anyone that receives calls from these numbers do the same. taking 5 minutes of doing this is better than finding out someone has stolen our information/ iden***y.
Got the same call. Knew my name and address. I asked to be removed from the list and was ***g up on. Will be reporting to the Federal trade commission telemarketing fraud complaint number listed above.

I have tried to call this number back. that little heffer better not ever call me a***n!

Got a call asked for my wife and then said I was a finalest in a sweepstakes that my bank or credit card enter me in. Couldn't and wouldn't tell me what bank...tried to control conversation and play down the fact she couldn't tell me the bank name. Caller ID says M S INC. She told me that she couldn't tell me the bank or credit card name because it is sensitive information and that she was just calling to verify my address to send the winning notice to if I do win. I told her if she couldn't give me the information I think she is full of s**t. She said I am not full of s**t and at that point I knew it was a scam and I ***g up. The scary thing is the portion of the address she did say was correct.
Just got a call from Hillary 301 970-9786. Said that I was in the running -very high up on the list to be exact to win big things, same as above. I asked them to tell me their name-Publisher Headquarters, Redondo Beach, California. She told me they were listed with the Better Business Bureau- Probably under scam artists! When she also said that I get the privilege off receiving many magazines -I told her NO THANKS. She ***g up real fast. Came right to the internet to check them out. Knew it was a scam! Thanks for being here.
lady Called me, said they were from a publishing warehouse. Asked is this " so and so?", when I said what is this about the lady ***g up.
Called and wanted to speak with my wife who was not home, I was walking out the door and asked if they would please hurry up and get to the point and they said they didn't want to hurry, called me a rude a**hole and ***g up. When I tried toreturn the call I got a busy signal
constant calling but leaves no message, when I do answer they ask if I am.... and then **** up
Same exact thing, said publishers house, wanted to give me free subscriptions, same thing about the bank giving them my info. Then wanted me to sign up and pay $4 a week for a magazine, I said no so they ***g up. Sure it is a scam wanting credit card info to steal, but I won't give that out on the phone.
has called me twice but I pick up they **** up and try to call it back but it is busy.
Called and said I had won prizes for paying on time to credit cards or bank. Then asked my age, which I didn't give. They ***g up on me after that.
I have received several calls from this number. Caller does not leave message. This evening, I answered, the caller identified herself as Hillary, I think, or maybe Tiffany, from Publishers Headquarters. She asked me how I was, I answered by asking if she was soliciting. She responded that she wasn't and a***n, dripping sarcasm, asked me "How are you this evening?" I asked what she was calling about and she replied, "Oh, just dripping in rudeness this evening, aren't we?" I resisted the urge to filet her with my impressive command of profanity, instead said "Goodnight" and ***g up. I called back, someone picked up, ***g up, and the number has been busy ever since. How can we stop these people? Isn't what they're doing a***nst the Do Not Call Laws????
Same thing happened to me. The number was 310-241-2969. I answered and they ***g up. I believe they've called before and the number looks like a number i got a random text from saying "who is this?" of course I responded back with the same question since they texted me first. I called back this number after they called me and *67ed it and that's how got Publishers Headquarters.
The same situation as all of the above. Call but don't leave a message and the one time I picked up they said they were from Publishers so****ing or other and asked if I was Linda and gave my correct last name, then ***g up on me too. I got a Publishers entry form in the mail a few days later saying I was entered into a drawing that I never knew about and wanted me to fill in information and mail it back in. It went in the trash. However I found using a reverse directory search online, that the number 310-370-9781, is a land line in the Redondo Beach area in California.
Similar thing happened to me but from 310-831-1152, from "Publishers Headquarters in California" but they wanted my address and kept saying I had been entered in a sweepstakes from my credit card company. They were not able to tell me what company I used. I asked for a number to call them back at, and once I called my credit card company, who of course told me they had never heard of them, I called the number back and it rang for about 5 minutes, then I ***g up and called back, it is permanently busy now -- scam!
Called me 12/25 in the afternoon,*****ounced my name incorrectly while asking for me. Said Tiffany from Publishers Headquarters in California. Asked repeatedly if I was (they said my name). Once I confirmed I was that person, they ***g up. When I called back (****ed that I was ***g up on), they kept ****ing up then took phone off hook or blocked my number, keeps coming up busy now. I contacted my service provider to report the number, the occurence and will investigate further or possibly report as a harrassing call or number.
Continuely calls and never leaves a message.
