AT&T is my carrier and I have also been getting these calls non-stop. So I got fed up and called AT&T. I spoke with a nice rep and she said that there was a fee to block :( However, she did ask me what type of phone I have and walked me through how to block the number for good at NO CHARGE :) so happy.... down with the b from CA

These calls just s****ed earlier today on my cell phone, my carrier is AT&T, so apparently it's not just Verizon. I haven't bothered answering, and then I checked here and saw a lot more people seem to be getting this call. Lovely

Been getting calls hourly as well from this number, same complaint as the rest of you...so i did some research... These calls are and overseas scam operation. Basically it's an Auto Dialing Program that is being used in conjunction with S**** Number App. using a throwaway pay as you go cell phone, the kind of phones you use buying those minutes cards and don't have an actual carrier. Basically pretty impossible to track. The number they are calling from is basically a hijacked number that is being s****ed. The purpose of the calls is to try to get as much info as they can about you using a computer trace software. The information is then used for all kinds of things, like, scams, robocalls and trying to actually use your phone number as a s**** number. Pretty scary stuff. Called me 12 times in an 8 hour period, did not leave a message.

Caller ID just says California. 11 missed calls on my office line over the weekend. No message.

I see by the other complaints listed below that I'm not the only one that has had this number show up on my cell phone caller ID. Left no message, of course... When I tried to call the number back, I got some recording from Verizon stating that the number can't be completed. Typical scammer!! :( :(

Call disconnected when I answered the phone and when I attempted to call number back it stated the phone number had been disconnected. I did a background on the #, it is listed as a cell phone number, it's origin is Santa Monica, CA and listed under "CA Playdelrey" I think the FCC should do so****ing about it. If the # is abandon well then make it in-operable as well. Let's all just hope it is not part of a bigger scam. While not paranoid I am over cautious due to years as a fraud investigator, I will be keeping an eye out on my credit reports, banking etc.. anything is possible in today's technology..then a***n we may all have so****ing in common and just don't know what it is. Annoying contiuous calls day and night. Verizon acts like they haven't a clue! T-Mobile Customers: THERE IS HELP! Call T-Mobile and ask about their “FAMILY ALLOWENCES” Plan. It cost’s $4.99 mo. and covers every phone on your plan. It has several very usefull features, however; in this case you are able to BLOCK NUMBERS from ever being able to call one or all of your phones! So, if you have a different provider other than T-Mobile call them – NOT Verizon because they will not do anything as they say this isn’t an active Verizon number! Maybe it was flashed over to another company, IDK. What I do know is I HAVE HAD MY LAST CALL FROM THIS NUMBER! Hope this helps

Phone calls come in from this number then the caller ****s up. This call s****ed on 2/13/2010 every hour then increased to every hour or so thereafter. My T-Mobile charges $5.00 to block the caller. I am not spending my money to stop the calls. Thinking about c****ing to another carrier who does not charge this fee but is part of the service!

This caller has called my phone 15 times in the past two days. 7 times on 12/10/2010 at 5:23pm,6:24pm,7:26pm,8:30pm,9:29pm,10:31pm and 11:33pm. The hourly calls continued into 12/11/2010 from 12:34am to 7:47am for a total of 8 additional calls. The phone rings 4 times and then ****s up. No identification, just "No Name"
