I got a call on my cell...Didn't answer...Sick of scammers and thieves !!!

received a call from this number w/ auto message : "card services and we are calling because you are current and should lower your interest rates. Press 1 to talk to a rep or 2 to be removed." I pressed one and asked the person what card it was for because the message did not state. He said that it was for multiple banks, Chase, Wells Fargo... visa and mastercard. I told him that I did not have a credit card for any of those banks and that he needed to provide me with the account number and open date. Then the "rep" ***g up...

Got a call on my cell that I didn't recognizeand didn't pick up.

Got a call this morning regarding a card that I don't even have that has a balance on it. When I asked more questions about it, the ***g up on me. I tried to call back several times and it was busy.

Phone scam for credit card users. Wanted to lower my % rate. Sure they do. This was from a Verizon verifued #. Why isn't Verizon tracking down this scam; after all they are using their #'s to steal from people. Scammers ****, and Verizon does as well, for not automaticlly going after them.
