The foreign accented man asked for the last 4 digits of my credit card. Said they would lower my interest rate to 6% I asked what company they were and he said "Credit Card Servicing" for BOA, Chase and Wells Fargo. I work for Wells Fargo and we service our own credit accounts. When I pressed him for the interest rate he said 6% was the introductory rate and he had to check my payment history and credit account. I told him if he called me a***n I would report him.

Called, extremely ***ue. Would not take return call.

Intentionally ***ue call purporting to be from my credit card company (never mentioned what company) - said nothing is wrong with my card, but I should call them to discuss lowering my interest rate. Clearly a phishing scam.
