He asked to give you PayPal email address so they can send you an email with the money they are supposed to pay for the item you selling. In the email they want you to buy a gift card with large amount of money and send the scratched code to them so they can release the money they owe you after

Tries to make you think they paid you in PayPal so you send the item. He insists on texting you from this number.

Made up a story about how the item they were buying should be sent to a different address and that they already paid in PayPal and sent a fake link/receipt.

This guy is clearly sitting in some cave somewhere in the world, possibly Tora Bora and using a bad VOIP connection

He said he wanted a gift card with his purchase from eBay and he sends a fake email stating that I will receive payment once he gets gift card
