Have called twice, once saying from IRS that I've ignored attempts to contact. Today's message was I would be going to jail if I did not cooperate. Is this for real???!! All of the info other people posted is exactly the same as the messages I've received.

they tell you that you owe back taxes that were miss calculated. After I told him I was recording the conversation he said there wasn't anything I could do as far as paying them and I would be going to jail. he s****ed the conversation with I owe 5127.00 from 2013. Bull!!!!!!!!!!!

This sounds like a scam the government would send a letter for this type of thing

States name as Steve Martin,calling re: enforcement action of US Treasury.(So****ing related to a US pension?) Ignoring will be an intentional 2nd attempt to avoid initial appearance before a magistrate judge or a grand jury for a federal criminal offense.
