This number called and left a voicemail stating they were from DirecTV and someone had recently used this my phone number, name and SSN to open a new account and they needed to verify this info. I called DirecTV (corporate number) to ask if there had been any recently account application or other activity and they said No. This number is obviously SPAM. Never give your SSN to some stranger that asks for it over the phone, no matter what excuse they give. Don't be a ****er, be safe out there.
