Leave a CommentWhen will these scam artists get what's coming to them? They're probably trying to do iden***y theft. Hopefully companies like monster.com, craigslist etc realize that this is hurting them as much as it's hurting us and do so****ing.
Request that I call back and speak with a specialist about recent application I submitted, and the company requested to remain anonymous at this time. When returning the call I should be online. So, I decided to google the name that appeared on my caller Id "Vox**** SA". It is a voice mail company.
I was online and went to www.snagajob.com, applied for this warehousing job under the name Right Fit Staffing Company Confidential. Filled out an online application and 2 weeks later I get a phone call, the name I don't remember, it was some long word that s****s with an O but the number 1(312)253-4877. If you go to www.snagajob.com you won't find Right Fit there no more.
Got the same message from "Melissa". I called and was on hold for 30 minutes! And I've run into the same problem. You apply for what looks like a legit job and it sends you an email stating you have to go through this online **** and they want to know if you want to own a business or go to college or have help with your debt. All I want is a job!
Yea. This company ****s. Like what's the point if they keep haning up. Bunch of ****s, if you ask me.
It's B.S.
Missed call at 9.37 this morning. Called, and got the same runaround about "job verification". If they ask for your number, it's a scam. Obviously they've got your number...they called you. They are trying to use your connection-it's a scam.Like any other number you do not recognize, don't call it. If they do not leave a legitimate message with a name and contact number...ignore it.
They called me to but when I call back it won't go through. Bunch of B.S. A real waste of my time.
I have filled out a few of these as well. It seems that they all have that gmail ending on their reply to email. Any of them that ask for your cell carrier or whether you want to further your education seem to be scams. Oh well... lesson learned...
I got a call today. This is my 3rd call and, yes, it is from filling out applications in hopes of a good job. I've never called back but I've only got recordings even when I did answer saying they've tried but couldn't reach me. Needless to say, I've wasted a lot of my precious time filling out these bogus job applications and sending resumes to them.
I received the recorded message detailed above, which asked that I call back when I was in front of a computer. When I called back later, a gentleman answered the phone and asked me to verify my telephone number. Then he promptly ***g up. When I called back, I get a recorded Verizon message saying that "all circuits are busy."
I just received a call from this number on my cell phone. There was lady named Melissa on the voicemail stating that I had recently filled out a job application within the last week and to call them back to speak with a veriification specialist. Should I call back?
Yes! I am so happy that someone posted so****ing about this! Every job on craigslist I've emailed about requires me to fill an application out online that asks if "I want info on improving my credit" or "Am interested in higher education or owning my own business?" And to top it off, I got the call from the 312-253-4877 number too. Please, these all must be scams! I feel like I just wasted a month job ***ting filling these things out. Is there anything Craigslist can do? Unfortunately, these companies are also on monster.com and jobs.com too.
ok, i am broke and jobless and i admit i filled out some questionable stuff but after recieving calls from p***nix university all week and having to **** up on them i was naturlauly su****ious about the message i just recieved on my voicemail......ya i guess i could just ended the p***nix u stuff by just talkin to thgem but they wasnty straight up with me so why be straight up with them...........next questionb is how can we play a game on these people? the 312 253 people.......any1 have any good ideas, i finnaly got a half ****py job today and the job i applied for that i had to fill out this other stuff, lets just say i really wanted it, and i knew i was probobly wasting my time fillin out multiple fields but it seemed like a real good job...lets get em back huh. i dont care if i have to waste another hour of my spare time lets all find the next hoop we need to jump into and get stuck in it for as long as we feel it will take for them to get as mad as i am!!!!! who is with me?
Just had the same thing happen. Called back, he asked me my name. I verified that was my name. And he ***g up on me. Called back and got "all circuits are busy now"Really bizarre. Glad I'm not alone on this one.
RE: 312-253-4877well, if you applied to a job on CL:"Help Desk Tech Support – FT Position pays to $27/hr plus benefits" and sent your resume to "Reply to: linda.***[email protected]" then that's one possibility why they aree calling you back...they do keep on ****ing up for some reason, as if they do not want you to ask questions.
got a recording from 312-253-4877...called back, waited till someone came online...he asked me for my number, then promptly ***g up. Tried to call back a***n, then it's "all circuit are busy now" only.Caller ID: 312-253-4877
I missed the call but I did fill out a job application on-line from Craigslist and I have had a few places call asking to further my education. If you answer and let them know to take you off the list they usually do.
Says they are a job verification company, and they are calling about a job you are being considered for, and promise to send you information about it. They try to see if you are interested in "further education", and if you are, they put you in touch with an educational ins***ution. (I was connected with a representative from Southern University). Needless to say, no real employment information was ever received. And, when you call the number back, it says "all circuits are busy."
I FOUND OUT WHO THIS # BELONGS TO. A JOB VERIFICATION COMPANY. I HAD PUT IN AN APP. ONLINE TO DAY.
