Why do they constantly call...PRIVACY MANAGER

i get this call every day.  crazy, find out who it is so i can castrate him.

very annoying!!!!!!!!!get calls 3-4 times a day

RELAX! This 312. 385. 1158 seems to be a universal privacy number that pops up on caller whenever caller is blocked. If you have privacy manager and caller is blocked... this number often appears. It's part of the local phone service used by the calling blocked line. My doctor's calls come to me with 385.1158 (not their main #... but their****t's and lab numbers are blocked because they don't want patients calling direct depts)... some stores have this same block I.D. It's not a stalker... it seems to simply be a universal number used by the phone company, issued to permanently blocked business customers. RELAX! I was very worried about who was calling me so often from that number... but it turns out to be SEVERAL PLACES/ PEOPLE... not just one and they are all friendly.

2 calls rec`d today; a couple of months ago 8 calls in 3 consecutive days. Last 3 yrs this **** keeps calling me every couple of mos. Privacy Mgr appears and call back recording is "disconnected". If anyone identifies this ****... please POST IT-??  I want to complain to authorities to stop `em. THANKS

I recieve about 20 calls per week from this number and when you call it back it is not in service for in-coming calls....it is VERY frustrating

this caller calls all times of the day and ****s up, when we answer, now the caller is calling collect.   How can we stop these calls? And find out where thisnumber is from?

these people keep calling me and saying they are from american express.  they asked for my social security number and mother's maiden name.

This is Privacy Manager, (a feature from ATT) that has intercepted a call coming from someone that has blocked their number.Using Privacy Manager   1. An unidentified caller dials your home.   2. Privacy Manager intercepts the caller before your phone rings.   3. If the caller chooses to identify himself, Privacy Manager rings your line.   4. When you answer, you hear the caller's name and you can choose to:          * Press 1 to accept the call.          * Press 2 to decline the call.          * Press 3 to refuse a sales call.   5. If you pressed 1, the call goes through. If you pressed 2 or 3, the caller will hear a brief message from Privacy Manager and then the call is disconnected.

Ok.... i had it with this # it;s been calling everyday at the same time and it only rings once then and they ***g up, so it doesn't appear at ur caller ID. So *** I'm seek of it.............312-385-1158

So this number shows up when someone is trying to block who is calling, is this always for people using *67, like friends using this or just telemarketers?? can you explain that better.  I got a late call last night and this number showed up and scared me to *****.

I have gotten several calls from this number. At first i wouldn't pick up and then the couple times i did they ***g up.

this is like a fake number if you will, which calls you when someone is calling your house and applying *69 to block their number.  It is free with a lot of call packages, and can be taken off if you like.  It is privacy manager.  It calls to ask if you would like to receive the call or not. However the system prompts the caller to say their name or the name of their company if it is a business.  You have the choice of either pushing one to deny or two to accept.  A lot of people use it to block telemarketers.  It is a wonderful tool to have.  I feel that if you are calling my house, I have a right to know who it is, with number shown.  If you block your number, then why are you calling?  perhaps maliciously right?

calls nonstop harrassment

I posted before as '***?'.  If you have privacy manager on your home phone and then foward your calls (as I did and didn't think about when I googled '312'385-1158')to another number (ie. your cell phone) or if someone else forwards their calls to your # and they have privacy manager, this # will appear on your caller id.  This is not the stalker's #. I love my privacy manager since I dont usually pick up when I see it, NO ONE CAN CALL ME PRIVATE.  Most stalkers will **** up once they hear the message and not bother with the hassel of saying their name and waiting for you to send them to voicemail.  a***n - - THis is not the number of a stalker - just the number that the service uses that keeps stalkers from bothering us.

I got a call from that # too and when I call back it says its disconnected

this 312 385-1158 calls and puts privacy manger on my phone and won't say who they are or who they are with.

Intercepted by Privacy Manager.  No message

I just got calls from this number @ 2:00am on 7-9-2007. I'd like to kick their ****!
