Caller ID says MC GuideI refuse to answer any of these calls. Usually they are for people I have never even heard of and the callers get all snarky when I say so.

I constantly get calls from this number.  Before they didn't leave any messages, but now I've gotten two.  It's from Merchant's Credit Guide.  It's a collection agency.  It keeps saying an unintelligible name in the beginning that I think is the person they are trying to reach, but it doesn't sound like mine.  I also don't have any unpaid bills, and have never used my credit card, so I don't know why I would all of a sudden s**** receiving calls from them.  I also did not have the option to be taken off any list in the message.

It's a collection agency, Midwest Capital Guarantee or some such. I got turned in to collections for an unpaid bill. MCG has been calling me regular like ever since.

Got several (at least 5) calls from this number. Shows up as "Chicago, IL" on caller ID.  They never leave a message.  If they are legitimate, shouldn't they leave a message?  I never answer calls from a number I do not know, or an unidentified number. I figure if they have a legitimate business reason for calling, they will contact me by regular mail and/or leave a message with information regarding their business, the reason for their call, and contact information.  If they do not provide this information, I****ume they are not a legitimate business and I do not deal with them. My phone is for my use as I see fit, I am not required by law to answer it for anyone to call as they wish and scam me.

they called this A.M. asking for me or my husband my sis in law asked to take a mssg n a mr. brickman said to call back n I should know the nature of the call. I don't even know a mr brickman

A lady tried to dig my son's info, this morning. She identified herself as Mrs.Jenkin from some business, with African American accent, and she spelled her company name that did not match with the one she mentioned first time. Her spelling was terrible, that made me su****ious about the nature of call. I simply mentioned, “you could not spell neither my wife’s nor son names correct so far, and you are processing my son’s application, send us a letter with proper identification”. Later, I called back this number, it was going to a black hole.

I got 2 so far.  One yes****ay and today.  My caller ID shows the name as MCG.  I've searched and searched, and found everything from Health Care to Phone Service, so I give up!If it's important, they can leave a message, if not, oh well.
