this is a scam. do not give out your information to these people.

It's Harris Law Firm PC. they're not really a law firm, they are a debt collection firm. Buy a cheap voice recorder that you can plug into your phone and test it before speaking to them. Inform the phone rep that you will be recording for your own records. I had a s***ding ticket issue to pay off, forgot about it and had it balloon to 898 dollars. These guys s****ed calling me, so I agreed to a payment plan (I'm a college student and thus broke) of $172 as a down payment and $83 a month until it's paid off. I made my payments, then received a call informing me that each monthly payment had to be $172, not $83. I asked to receive a copy of the phone recording wherein I originally agreed to 83. The rep, named Miss V, then asked if I would prefer if they deleted my payment plan. That's a threat of implication (which means that she was suggesting that I make my new payments or delete my plan ). I made no mention of wishing my plan to be deleted (and thus requiring me to immediately pay my balance in full or risk legal consequences). Further, I never received any letters or legal correspondence stating the details of my payment plan, despite repeated requests. Since Harris (seriously agitated air quotes here) Law (end air quotes) Firm is a private debt collection agency, they're not subject to Freedom Of Information Act requests and thus don't have to produce any of their phone recordings.
