obviously you didnt pay your bills or you wouldnt be wondering why they are calling you and who they are. So before you say so****ing ignorant, think first before your dumb@$*$ puts comments on the internet.

It's not a scam.  It's a debt collection company in Waterloo, Iowa -- The CBE Group.  My cell phone was called twice today, with no voicemails left.  When I called from my work phone a few minutes, a customer service rep answered pretty quickly (after the standard "Press 1 for English").  Someone in Akron, Ohio, stole my iden***y in November 2009, opening up a credit card account and also filing for bankruptcy.  I disputed all that with the three credit reporting agencies, and it has been corrected from my credit reports.  Then today I find out that the guy also had his electricity turned on in my name; The CBE Group was calling to collect more than $700 in past dues for the same address used for the credit card and the bankruptcy filing.  Guess this will never go away!  Ha!  But the customer service rep at The CBE Group was nice at least and told me how to dispute it with her company and the energy company in Ohio.

Yeah I just switched to Verizon also and the whole 4 days I've gotten like 12 calls. Its really annoying

Debt collection agency.  I just signed up with Verizon and it seems the previous user of the phone number I have now owes ALOT of people.   Verizon wants to charge me more money to c****e my number.  I get about 13 calls per day from collection agencies and this is one of them.

CBE group they say trying to get personal information was treated at MD Anderson last year. They told me when I went there was covered 100%.They double checked before they did surgery. These goons have been calling everyday since Janurary. I had to c****e home phone and now they are calling my cell everyday. I have been making payments and can prove since December directly to MD Anderson!

This number just called my land line. Didn't pick up as I pulled up these entries while it was ringing. Called ID showed up as 'CBE'

They keep calling me every morning and asking me to verify my phone number when they know who I am they still dont tell me why they are calling until I give them my address!

In the last week, this number has called me on my cell phone multiple times with no messages ever left. What is really odd is that if I attempt to call the number back from my desk phone at work, it will not ring and just disconnects right away. When I call back from my cell, an automated system picks up and then just forwards me to someone who answers with no standard greeting except "this is _____ who am I speaking with?" I tried to ask a couple questions and was placed on hold for over 5 minutes and eventually ***g up. I have dealt with collection agencies in the past and NEVER has one been reluctant to even give out a company name. I definitely think this is some sort of a scam. Beware!!!

Uh, well I am a high school student WITHOUT bills and this number is relentlessly calling me; what's your reason for that? This seems too cir***stancial to be legitimate, so I think it's a scam.

personal business matter means they're collecting a debt and thats what they have to say when they call.. its not a scam, pay your bills

they keep calling and don't leave a message--if you call back, it goes to an automated system that seems legitimate, but there is only one person working there at a time. looking into my "personal business matter" SCAM

I answered a call from this number yes****ay. They asked me to verify some personal info, but would not tell me what they were calling about. They gave me a company name that is different than what they phone # trace says it is, and when I asked who it was, the woman just stated her first name. What the***** good does that do me?! I don't know you, and if you won't tell me what you are calling in regard to, then I am certainly not verifying ANY information. They either need to tell me why they are calling, or leave me alone!

These people call my cell phone morning and night.  I have no idea who it is or why they call.  When it goes to voicemail, no message is left.  The caller ID display only shows the number.  The name or company ID information is missing.
