Please stop calling

I finally figured out how I got roped into receiving these relentless phone calls from Kaplan "University". Back during early summer (it is November as I write this), I went online and completed an informal questionaire to determine the best occupations for different personality types. It was a sidebar adverti*****t on some website I was reading. I completed the questions and they gave me my personality type and listed all the suggested occupations I might be interested in. I was happy, until... two online "degree" companies (I won't honor them by calling them universities, as they insist) s****ed calling my cell phone daily, often twice a day. The number above ("Kaplan University") is still with me to this day. The other company was "P***nix University", but they finally stopped calling me a month ago. Both companies are excessive in their phone calls. Please answer online questionnaires with great caution. At best, your email and phone will be inundated and they will try sales pressure to wear you down to join their "universities" and in the end, the degree is UNACCREDITED, and will not mean anything in your job search. This is a very lucrative business, and their websites look convincing. If you contact them, their sales staff is very good at talking you into coming in for a quick meeting. Trust your gut. It's bad enough that all those telemarketers call my home phone, but now they've been calling my cell phone.  Do they not understand "DO NOT CALL A***N, I'M NOT INTERESTED"!  They need to stop bothering people, it's very irritating!

This is the fifth call from some weird number I've received in the past twenty minutes. They call my cell phone, and I've never given my cell phone number out. In the process of typing this, another weird number just called me. I'm more than ****ed.

Kaplan Online University.  If you sign up for so****ing that might sell your information they can get it.  NextTag partner's with them so they might get your number through them.

I work night shift and my in my voicemail recording I flat out say "do not call between 7am and 4pm because I am asleep". For three days straight I got called FIVE times during the day.

This person calls and calls. They don't get after the first fifty times I ignore the call!!

Yes, it's Kaplan University.  In the last two days I've been getting calls from a variety of education systems.  Why all of a sudden is this industry doing so and how are they coming up with our number?

Asinine Kaplan calling at 9am on Sunday, and all times of day and night during the week. 8/10/08 at 9am, crazy.

It's Kaplan University. I got caught in a dumb loop on my computer, and now 5 different on-line "universities" call me on my cell, ugh

I filled out a request for some information about a Master's Program about 8 months ago.  They are still calling.  Of course I've since made that number my "inactive" line, so they only get my voicemail and all I get are either **** ups or so****ing about Kaplan and their new rates for tuition.

I have received two calls from this telephone number.  They do not leave a message so it is not an important call to me.  Glad to know it is telemarketers.  Have to go to the no call list a***n.
