This number just called our small business. Caller ID says ASIA PACIFIC. When I answered no one said anything, but I could hear a lot of murmuring in the background -- clearly a call center, and I'm sure the computer was hooking me up to the next available PITA. Per HTC (link provided by KATHRYN, above) it is owned by "Fereidoun “Fred” Khalilian and his company, The Dolce Group Worldwide, LLC, d/b/a My Car Solutions. Khalilian is well-known to the FTC from a 2001 settlement that banned him ..." As stated by KATHRYN above, check this out. They're obviously bold and don't care what they're ordered to do or NOT to do. This is the type of place I detest. http://www.ftc.gov/news-events/press-releases ... ocall-operation It leads to this site: http://www.ftc.gov/news-events/press-releases ... d-extended-auto "Copies of the complaint are available from the FTC’s Web site at http://www.ftc.gov and from the FTC’s Consumer Response Center, Room 130, 600 Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20580.
