It's a robot voice pretending to be a real person. By pretending, I mean they don't just talk to you, they deliberately make little mistakes in their s***ch to make them sound more "human." Like saying, "Oops! I dropped my pen! Thanks for waiting..."

I answered when they called a few days ago. I missed the call today. Next time I'll block the #.
