This number has been calling my house more than six months at least five times a day. I have debt collectors call all the time for my husbands exwife who has never lived here. I called ACS and left a message never to call a***n. Hmm, we will see...

Their real phone number is: 954-426-2642, which is registered to PHL International at 836 S Military Trail, Deerfield Beach FL - head honcho is Mark Burton ****tle jewish guy who is never at the call center). Their parent company is American Debt Negotiators (866-969-4236), owned by Ran David Barnea, supposed home address is 21955 Cypress Dr, Apt 48f, Boca Raton, FL. They use several s**** names such as "Cardholder Services." I've received scam calls about car warranties from them too. Don't rely on the caller id because they use fake numbers. Use the above information to report them to www.donotcall.gov/ - "file a complaint." You could also crank call them if it makes you feel better

They call almost every night. I s****ed out just letting the phone ring. Then I got tired of the phone ringing and annoying my TV time so now when I get a call from a number I do not recognize I press talk and then end immediately without saying a word. I've had some bad experiences with telemarketers being rude when you ask them to take you off of their list so I ditch them this way and don't miss a word of my program.

Associated Community Services, Southfield Michigan. They are professional fund raisers who raise money for anything they can make a profit on, especially various Cancer organizations. According to a Channel 7 in Detroit investigation, they keep 80%. They use high pressure guilt-laying trips on people they call. "Oh, but it's for the children." It's easy to handle them. Just don't answer. If you do answer, just let them talk their heads off and say "No" to everything. Let them talk. Waste as much of their time as possible.

Did not answer. From previous caller description of children's cancer fund it is a for profit fund raising company. I have repeatedly blocked all their numbers and they just keep getting new ones to call and get through. I have spoken with the operators and even their supervisor one call and have told them to stop calling. Their response is that the do not call list doesn't include them as they are fund raising.

The caller is Cancer Support Services. According to Charity Navigator they raise about seven million dollars a year of which only 24% goes to program expenses and 69% goes for fund raising. Not a worthwhile organization.

You might want to research telephones that have a block number feature.  We bought one from Best Buy.  We can block up to 20 numbers.  We can also block up to 20 more numbers on AT&T's website, because they are our phone service provider.  Hope this helps ;-)

If you have Comcast for your phone company you can get "call screening"  --dial *60 and add up to 12 numbers to your list.  I don't know if it's free or not, but I added this number.  They'll get a polite message that I'm not taking any calls.

have found simple solution to unwanted calls - spend a few dollars on a new phone that has call blocking. Panasonic has a unit that you can block calls. Have a little more peace of mind.

This is very annoying. I have a boyfriend overseas and when this number came up I thought it was a calling card. But turned out to be a "****" call. Enough already.

I called this number (for CMC) and reported them.  I too, have been receiving several calls from them and when I answer, they **** up, although I can hear them in the background.  Perhaps they have to connect with a number of calls to get credit?  The woman at CMC said she would report it and call me back on Thursday.  It will be interesting if I get a call back!

They asked for someone else and was solicting for cancer even through I am on do not call list. I told them to quit calling as this is a restricted phone line. Then the recalled from a different number. Called phone company to put block for their number.

Asked them how much the $10 pledge will actually go to the charity, and then I was switched over to the manager, and then he told me only 15% will go to charity, the rest is admin costs. Then I said no I will not contribute. Why should they get $8.50 of my money - I didn't call them - they called me!

Said they were "Cancer Support Services", which the Charity Navigator web site lists with a very poor rating for getting money to their cause. They raise over $7 Million each year, but show extremely high fundraising costs, program expenses, and at least one employee making $155,000 a year. The balance sheet shows nothing going to their cause. They called several times a day, every day this week before I answered. They only ring 3 or 4 times (? to avoid message systems?) so they're ****ing up when you're picking up the phone a lot of times. Caller ID showed "Detroit, MI" and the Charity Navigator web site shows them based in Dearborn, Michigan. Since they're a "nonprofit" you have to ask them to put you on their do-not-call list, and the Charity Navigator has a message thread about removing your number from their system.

This number is from Michigan. They keep calling saying they are some cancer support service. Or childrens Cancer Fund. They will not stop bothering us. After I tell them we are on do not call. Take us off your list. Your not getting a donation from us. They keep calling demanding we promised them a donation.

I am a fundraiser. Time to educate you all on the DNC policy. If that party does not identify the name of the client they are calling for, you cant just say put me in your DNC list, and just **** up. Non profits and political organizations are exempt from the DNC. to those who say "no one is there", there is a delay when the dialer calls your number and the caller actually gets you. If you get someone just read the # on your ID to them and tell them to put them on their DNC.
