Tried to give refund for computer work done. Over paid and wanted payment back in Apple gift cards

Rec'd call that I was to get a $349.99 from a computer service that (apparently) went out of business. They asked the usual info-name, address, tele# & e-mail address. Also, asked for name of my bank, but did not ask for account # or address of bank. Somehow, we got disconnected but the lady called back, apologized and said she would call me back, either later that day or the next. She had also said money would be in my account in about 15 mins. This was around 4PM, it is now after 10PM and still no money. A friend told me it was a scam and now I believe her, especially since Been Verified could not find any record of the tele# I was given. So, I guess I'm getting a large "refund".
